Well i think he looks worried because perhaps from Joe's pov Liz is someone who is like Joyce. Recently out of Christianity, exploring the things that they used to self deny and when he was having sex with Liz she stopped and thought the experience almost "ruined her". So now despite the pep-talk from Roz I reckon he's probably super worried that Joyce will react similarly and he'll lose her.

I just want to say...I really love that, even in the midst of Joe questioning himself, particularly in the midst of trying to grow into something better...Joyce still affirms Joe and his values - being a good wing-man/-woman, facilitating hanky-panky, etc. She meets him where he's at, appreciates the positive aspects, and flows with that to draw him in toward her own desires and needs too (boy does she want to HP!).
