It's been like 8 years since we last saw Kaitlin, but for her it's only been 5 months! (Kaitlin is Becky's former roommate before Becky got yanked out of college for gayness (with Kaitlin).)

also i forgot about the "no appearances since the timeskip" rule before i wrote it whoops, you pulled one over on me this time

@Kyle: Generally, if a character hasn't appeared in the comic since the end of Book 10 (when the timeskip between October and the beginning of the second semester occurs), they're ineligible for bonus strip voting, because Willis doesn't want to reveal anything about their current circumstances too soon. Until their reappearances, characters like Ethan, Jacob, Carol Brown (BOO! HISS!) and, most notably (and persistently, in terms of how often people voted for her anyway), Jocelyne were off limits. Off the top of my head, the most prominent characters who are still ineligible are Hank Brown and The Great Faz. I'm sure there are others I'm missing. (For God's sake, don't say Ryan.)

I think this doesn't actually break the "appeared since the time skip" rule - If we weren't going to see her again, than she exists outside of the before/after continuum, and is therefore perfectly admissible for the bonus strips.

Not sure how well anyone remembers "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", but when I see Greece described as "the cradle of civilisation", I imagine the description was written by Gus Portokalos from that film. Give him a word, any word, and he'll show you that the root of that word is Greek!

Dang, it's been a while since we've seen Kaitlin. Eight years, that would be around December 2016. It's funny, as Kaitlin as a character isn't much, but with her outing Becky, she unknowingly set up the chain of events that would cause the death of three people(Mike, Blaine, and Ross) and cause Carol to lose her Church and Husband. Despite having no importance at all, she is more or less a fixed point in the DOA story.
