@Grace Kieser: It's not a question of canon - I'm thinking more along the lines of the idea that doing a callback to something that was only in a Slipshine and not in the main comic would be unfair to the people who haven't seen the Slipshine. (There are a few lines of dialogue in the Becky/Dina Slipshine that are just *begging* for callbacks at some point, but that will likely never happen for precisely this reason. I'm not even going to hint at them.)

(For those who have never read the Slipshine, Becky heatedly refers to Dina's "downstairs fancy place," a euphemism she instantly regrets because she knows she's just created an inside joke destined to be repeated by Dina for all eternity.)
