That's definitely the Joyce we know; claiming all the agency and ultimate status for their relationship. She overstates things. She invests completely in the the other and any change in their situation feels bad. But it's a different Dorothy. This is the first relationship we've seen her in where she's responding at a similar level of infatuation.

In truth. We actually started dating in high school - She was 14 & I was 16 and then after about a year, her parents did a semester teaching in London and she went with naturally. HUGE pile of letters that said little but were meaningful anyway. Then I got the wild idea to send flowers. Roses. International delivery in the early 80's... 😱I talked my dad into using the family credit card but it took almost a year to pay him back. They got delivered in class and all the college aged gals were so jealous of her though I don't think her mother has forgiven me yet 40+ years later since I was a "bad boy"

ok idk why i changed topic to hair color when this is about the hat. checking my references the old hat was close to 5258C and the new one is like, *close* to Cool Gray 6C but there's more purple in it than i can find an adequate match for. messed up how hex codes have more nuance than industry standard colors, smh my head
