I think Joyce noting Fuckface is also a concern is honestly fine, and she DID say "plus". She's not dismissing the grander issue, though yeah, the two need to probably prioritize that. I hope Sal is also mobilizing on this. If Asher is the one who messaged Amber, he'd have also potentially told her. That said, I guess even if they DID find the costume in there, she'd probably get let off once it would have been pointed out that Sal has clashed with her in public and established they are different people, back at the Robin rally, but that's obviously leaving a lot to chance.

i understand the rationale behind keeping the complaints stuck into a single thread but they can be a pain to scroll past and they get started way too early in the thread for my liking. (i mean, i also just dislike the deluge of bad taste and/or poor media literacy they bring in, but like, trying to be constructive here) they're probably gonna keep happening until Joyce and Dorothy's stuff has reached whatever arbitrary condition would make everything okay in their eyes, which as far as i can tell is "Joe and Walky ground Joyce and Dorothy for 10,000 years like one of those GoAnimate Cailou videos"

I guess it’s possible the (presumably cop) who stabbed Amber could be keeping that little chestnut to himself, since knives really don’t have any place in police tactics. Even Mafia corrupted cops are going to have a hard time justifying that one. Lethal force sometimes gets justified (there are entire countries that don’t agree or arm their police with it), but that means guns used from a distance. “I was so scared for my life I had to use a weapon that requires me to move into melee range”, I’ve never seen it. I strongly suspect the Deans talked it over either the police and said “We appreciate the help keeping the protestors in line, but NO. GUNS. We do not need another Kent State. If we so much as hear a gunshot our arrangement is over.” “One sniper, only used if someone pulls a gun first.” “….fine.” Then some cop decides he found a loophole. Or the stabber got scared and told his boss, so a couple cops know, but they’re keeping that to themselves.

The thing about framing Sal as Amazigirl is, any blood left on the costume wouldn’t DNA match the blood in Sal’s body. Of course, ACAB could ignore that for a while, but sooner or later someone would bring it up. I question whether Sal could sanitize the costume so thoroughly there’s no forensic evidence. Amber still has major injuries that won’t stand up to scrutiny if any authority figure finds out about them, Sal doesn’t.

It’s not going to be a long-term issue since Amazi-Girl is well-established as white, short, and stocky, whereas Sal is black, tall, and toned. The entire joke with Jennifer is that only she would be stubborn and dense enough not to figure it out by now.
