Booster, this is not the time.

C

Booster progressively leans in, each time the text getting larger and bolder.

Dan Rabin

Booster is turning out to be a pretty good invention.

Rob McBobson

Okay, I guess this is the new storyline. Walky and Amber. Good to know; I was getting uncertain about where the plot would go now that the police were gone and Leslie's been released.

GundamBradley

She probably trusts Danny, too, though she doesn't trust herself when it comes to him.

Corronchilejano

Would Booster knock themselves down a peg if they knew what was up or would they double down? I need answers.

Astariel

I think she also trusts Dina.

Dan Rabin

There's still bowling night, maybe.

voyager-ngc5195

Booster either really doesn't get what's going on, or really does get it and is using this opportunity to tip Walky off balance for more information. Either way it's irritating.

Andrea Andrew

Good on Booster. They don’t need all the info yet, and they’re still supporting Walky and Amber’s romance. Walky, if there’s one thing you’re known for, it’s being trustworthy, mostly.

GundamBradley

I like that Booster dropped it after Walky made it clear he wasn't going to tell them more. That trust is well-founded. That said, it's interesting Amber was also alright with the option of if Booster found her. I imagine she'd know Booster would have zero interest in cooperating with the authorities, but it's still interesting.

JC

Walky is not a fan of the idea of adulting.

*Walky looks down at the instant throbbing erection he now has after hearing those words* "... I'll be in the bathroom"

Astariel

Good on Booster for not pushing too hard. I wasn't sure they'd be able to resist.

Harold

@voyager-ngc5195: While Booster can certainly be irritating, I'm choosing to read them as 100% sincere at this moment - they haven't known Amber for long, but they've interacted with her enough to know that trust is a *huge* deal, and a difficult one, for her. I think Booster's respect for their roommate just skyrocketed.

Gale Tazzin

I'm reminded of how Walky immediately understood Amber's plurality and was one of the only people who never questioned it. He's been a comforting, stabilizing force in all of his relationships, and Amber clearly needs comfort and stability the most

Gale Tazzin

(The comfort and stability was good for Dorothy early on, but she's a fundamentally different person now and she needs to be challenged and pushed to become who she needs to be)

Tessea

"Amber trusts you." ".... Wait, why?"

Sajuuk-Khar

Booster: ♪ Well who’d have thought/And who’d have known/And who’d have guessed they’d come together on their own! ♪♪ Walky: Come on! No musical numbers! Booster: Just wait and see!/A few days more! Walky: Especially from Beauty and the Beast! Booster: There might be something there that wasn’t there before~!

Kelly (they-them)

I feel like I could just go to Amber's profile directly

Jennifer Novelli

Booster's lizard brain is telling them to turn Amber in for the drama. They won't listen to it, but it is there.

Zesstra

I don't know about anything beyond kissing, but: When they had only kissed on Garbage Roof and Walky mentioned that to AG while dressed as Night-Guy, AG replied "Amber did what?" which is when Walky immediately realised that Amber and AG are different people. (dumbingofage.com/themask) At the Halloween party, Amber is wearing a partial AG costume and it's her who breaks up with Walky, not AG. In short, Walky has only really been involved romantically with Amber, not AG, with whom his involvement has mostly been chasing her around campus for journalism purposes.

Andrea Andrew

I wonder if both Amber and Amazi-Girl are in love with Walky this time. We know Dorothy finds Amazi-girl attractive and she’s being challenged by Joyce right now.

darklion

Booster is a human drama tag

Sajuuk-Khar

Given the title of the plot and Becky’s intense psychological baggage I imagine we will also be continuing to deal with the Becky/Dina breakup and its shockwaves

Girlycore

I'm reading, I'm giving a kudos, I'm leaving a comment.

Harold

@Hooked to the Silver Screen: It's *Danny* who only dated Amazi-Girl. And, for the record, Walky and Amber never actually had sex (if you define sex the way Joyce does).

Harold

@Sajuuk-Khar: Walkiere and Boostworth: "Be... Our... Guest, be our guest, put our loft bed to the test / We'll protect you from the gendarmes while you get your needed rest"

Harold

Booster's favorite tag is "Dead Dove: Do Not Eat"

Harold

I'd like to think Amber trusts Joyce and Dorothy as well (certainly the latter, after Dorothy chose not to reveal her identity in the paper last semester). And Ethan, of course. Not sure if she knows Sarah well enough to trust her (although Sarah *was* one of the Basement Bunch).

Mitzi B.

I believe in Booster's ability to not be a snitch. Willis better not prove me wrong.

Harold

@Mitzi B: In Jennifer's defense, she hastens to note that Booster would *not* do this. But I don't agree that their "lizard brain" would even entertain the possibility.

VengeanceKnight

Yeah, they negotiated down to “dry-humping to climax.”

Gale Tazzin

@Harold Joyce canonically defined sex so broadly that she counts the laundry room with Dorothy as losing her virginity

Fart Captor

Booster definitely isn't a snitch, and I cannot imagine they'd have the slightest temptation of turning Amber in even for drama Morals aside, Amber is a constant source of high quality personal drama, and also smutty fanfics, neither of which she can provide from jail

Jennifer Novelli

@Fart Captor: I mean "tempted" in the way one might be tempted to steal the Hope Diamond; you'd never do it, but when it's *right there* you at least think about it.
