@Ria: a furry artist on bluesky did a livereading thread of DOA and it brought a lot of fresh eyes to the comic. it hasn't updated since she got to the end of book 15, though. i quite enjoyed following the thread bc it was nice to see people, people unfamiliar with the comic at that, being interested in and positive about the comic! a nice breather after witnessing months and months of comment section regulars wishing for joyce to be killed with hammers!

It IS ok for guys to be slim and soft, it doesn’t have to mean Walky is trans. Twinks exist just like dykes. And it’s ok for straight guys to be soft and pretty too, not everyone has to conform to an arbitrary and rigid social expectation.

yeah it was fun to go through it and remember all of my reactions to my first archive binge in 2018 and the recurring joke of the slipshine banner was perfect
