I'm curious: is Becky's refutation of God meant to be real or was that a thing said in anger? Willis can write his characters however he wants but I wasn't sure if he just didn't want to keep up with Becky's theopositivity given the comics subject matter (I'm probably way overthinking it).

Off-topic (but not really because Becky): Willis has posted a couple of Becky preview panels on Bluesky over the past couple of days which are great in and of themselves, but fascinating to contemplate together. One, dated next February 4, depicts a happy/sassy-looking Becky doing a little sashay in her room in front of Dorothy and Dorothy's parents (yay!). But then there's a panel dated February 7, of Becky sitting at her desk, mask apparently off, looking decidedly UNhappy. My guess: Dorothy and her parents are heading out to meet Joyce, to bask in WLW love and parental acceptance of that love. And Becky has Feelings about all of it.
