Feelings aren't always fair. In a sense, Lucy has no "right" to feel upset about Walky hooking up with Amber, not like she arguably did with Dorothy. Walky has some reasons to deny it...it would embarrass Amazi-Girl, it'd probably embarrass Amber, and the less information is "out there" about Amazi-Girl right now, the better...but I don't think any of those reasons are motivating him so much as his urgent wish to prove he's not a f#ckboy (https://www.dumbingofage.com/comic/judgymcjudgerface/). From the perspective of someone well out of college, Walky has nothing to be ashamed of--he's young, he's discovering himself, he was patient with Lucy, and nothing he did during his second round with Dorothy contributed to its brevity. From that same perspective, Lucy has another partner with whom things are going great and shouldn't be troubled by anything Walky does at this point. But, y'know, feelings aren't always fair.
