Oh.... It turns out I'm Sarah

Minzoku Bokumetsu

about the best impression you might ever get of Sarah

C

"And that's most of my positive energy for the day, later!"

C.T. Phipps

Wait til Karen meets Amber. "Oh god, Richard brought you to that slasher girl!"

Kelly (they-them)

This makes me long for a friend named Joe on good terms with their mother

Andrea Andrew

And then she helps Walky nurse Amber back to normal.

Harold

Dina [popping up out of nowhere]: "Yay, we're bonding!"

Lazuli

no, sarah, youre definitely cheerful

Tessea

Well I know SOMEONE was going to make that joke. But I expected it to be Becky!

Lisa

I really didn't understand why Sarah wanted to meet Karen so much. This reason is completely unexpected but now makes perfect sense.

GundamBradley

Heh, I like where Joe's relationship to Sarah has wound up developing.

Harold

Becky, later: "Dang, someone beat me to it? Good on ya, Sarah!"

jafortee

DMW, do you use your Bluesky to repost strips out of context bc this one is a certified classic

Morgan Byrd

She’s smiling so much. This is unnerving.

KiasyonSFM

Godly interaction. Thank you, Willis!

Lazuli

side comment, joe would look a lot like his mom if he started hrt

Packy Anderson

Would Karen know about that? Joe/Danny/Dorothy weren't part of the Walkerton circle.

IRL, I've noticed a trend among my friends with kids: there's a sort of invisible horizontal line at about mid-nose. Above, your features resemble one parent. Below, it's the other [1]. Which is to say: I think Joe got his mother's eyes and [eyebrows | forehead], and his father's [chin | jawline]. Then again, YMMV. ___ [1] - all of said kids have two parents, to the best of my ability to tell. I'm told it can get more complicated, and some have more than two gene-donor parental-types, but my comprehension doesn't extend in that direction. More knowledgeable folk are welcome to fill in those gaps.

Brian Danger Hicks

It's important to have clear objectives and an exit strategy

C.T. Phipps

I mean, her ex-husband's new stepdaughter and Joe's stepsister.

taekwondogirl

It doesn't really sound like she's on super great talking terms with her ex, though. That also might not be a detail Amber's mom TELLS him anyway.

C.T. Phipps

Stabbing Sal? No. But stabbing Ryan would be hard to cover up since his dad sued them.

joe mcguire

Sarah, I know what you said is true and I know we don’t love Joe’s Dad, but you gotta be careful with those “against my will, against a door” comments because I knew what you were referring to and even I was horrified and misinterpreted what you said for a minute 😅

Riley

I continue to ship it

Harold

I mean, Tony might have something to say about that. He does *not* seem like the polycule type.

Johanne

Please remind me what's she's referring to, did she slam a door in his face or something?

Beck Chonigman

Sarah is in her element rn and I am very happy for her for that!

Tessea

Thank you! I wanted to check, but the search-by-tag function on the main site has been borked pretty much since the overhaul.

GundamBradley

Judging by her lack of reaction, I just kind of assume Joe's mom knows it wasn't a literal statement. Richard was (perhaps even still is) a cad, but he's not a monster.

Packy Anderson

But why would Karen particularly know about some random girl at her son's university? Unless she's stalking her ex and checking up on his new stepdaughter.
