Alternating-speaker conversation scene—except the speakers aren't facing each other, Alice having walked past Ruth in the previous strip. So Alice is progressively turning her head away from Ruth in her three panels as she gets further into her narration of the previous night's configuration. Ruth maintains her head position, but varies her eyes and mouth expressions a bit as Alice proceeds. Alice is shown against the background of the room; Ruth is in borderless/backgroundless space. We know that there was no sex chez Billie/Lucy the night before, so Ruth is jumping to conclusions: Alice did not come to brag.
