ChatGPT of Age continues: (Prompt) Could you summarize the rules of roller derby for me? (Response) Certainly! Roller derby is a fast-paced and exciting full-contact sport played on roller skates. While the specific rules can vary slightly depending on the league or governing body, here are some key elements and rules commonly found in roller derby: Teams and players: Roller derby is played between two teams, each consisting of five players on the track at a time. Four players on each team are called blockers, and one player is the jammer. Objectives: The objective of roller derby is for the jammer to score points by lapping members of the opposing team. Blockers aim to stop the opposing jammer while assisting their own jammer in scoring. Jams: The game is divided into short periods called jams, usually lasting up to two minutes. Jams begin when the designated jammer from each team starts skating from behind the pack of blockers. Scoring: The jammer earns a point for each opposing blocker they pass legally, after their initial pass through the pack. Blockers attempt to hinder the opposing jammer while assisting their own jammer. Blocking and pack: Blockers engage in legal hits and defensive maneuvers to impede the opposing jammer's progress while assisting their own jammer. However, illegal actions such as tripping, elbowing, or hitting above the shoulders are not allowed. Penalties: Players can receive penalties for illegal actions or rule violations. Common penalties include cutting the track (skating out of bounds), blocking with illegal contact, or failure to leave the track when sent to the penalty box. Strategy and teamwork: Roller derby involves complex strategies such as offensive and defensive blocking formations, communication between teammates, and coordinated plays to maximize scoring opportunities and minimize the opposing team's progress. It's important to note that roller derby rules can vary, and leagues may have their own specific variations and regulations. If you are interested in participating or spectating roller derby, it's best to familiarize yourself with the specific rules of the league or organization you're engaging with.

Rules are easily available online. I read them when the sport showed up in the comic, and I even streamed a few matches to get the hang of it. It's unlike other sports in many ways, but it's not obscure. As in other contact sports, there are lots of rules that seem to reduce the chances of injury, and many rules that make the sport more sporting and fair.

Wait hold on. We’re gonna see Danny, Sal, and Amber/Amazi-girl interact. *gets popcorn*

We've seen Danny, Sal, and Amber interact since Danny and Sal got together, and Amber's OK with it. But Amber wasn't the one who previously dated Danny. And Amber isn't the one who's doing derby. Amazi-Girl might feel differently about the situation, and she's the one who's driving right now. I've got a bad feeling about this.

i've entirely forgotten who the fifth person on the team is
