Jobs can also be like personas... if I may, each of our Star names tends to correlate with a facet of who we are, literally or figuratively, almost like our own jobs. Being Hungry, mine should be relatively obvious. One example would be food...like so! ACTION and INTENT: Change Superior Substance's chemistry to be that of a pastel pink strawberry lemonade. This should signal to Cherry the connection between my role and the actions I take. Also a subtle way of referring to him as "food".

It's a wonder that Marston can still function, in a way. Really hope we can keep him in the party~ Also, I'm very curious about multiclassing. It'd be an interesting future for the party if they end up multiclassing. Milo being punished by the gods for his inability to bring Cherry to them is not unexpected. Poor puppet. I wonder what is going on with his and Sylvia's "abdication". Also, our new SS friend is adorable, even with his dream job is cutely funny. Also, SPIDER ARTISAN! THEY LOOK SO COOL AND AWESOME! AHHHHH STRIPPER KURT IS CANON, THANK YOU HORNY GODS! This was a fun update! We are starting to see just a bit more about jobs and how they work- and with Marston how you keep the skills, perhaps to a lesser extent, after losing your crystal. Poor guy- and I can see why the Arbiters are scared of him, he has a lot of power that might interact with them, and suggests they are more vulnerable than they pretend to be. Milo and Sylvia abdication- I thought that might be the case from the gossip, but what is going on? Are the Gods planning to take a more direct hand in the politics of the world, meaning they don't need the two of them before? And interesting that Kurt thinks they want Cherry to cure the Heat- my suspicion is they want him to kill Zenion once and for all, which they think will end his influence on the world. Would explain why they didn't just tell the Council.

Honestly though, I think you should consider being a Perfumer- if you need to go to the Dungeon and rescue someone quick without being detected it fits, and is a role that works with the Big Hunk's knowledge of plants, and your chemical skills. God dammit I am loving Superior Substance and Marston. Both are ultra cute. Superior Substance gives me big asexual vibes and I would not mind at all if he wound up being ace. I think it would even make him more fun, and give him more of a dynamic with everyone else. Also I can’t get over how cute he is in his fantasy, it’s amazing. Marston I already found super cute, but now I think he’s even more cute. Also I just love the fact that he was made to be a weapon, then moved on from it over a decade ago. Like a soldier who managed to move on to a better life. It gives me serious “dad” energy, but not “daddy” energy which is fun.

He did mention he doesn’t really have that job anymore when talking about how hard it was to get a job with his credentials, so I think he did teach up to five years ago. Considering he was until recently partnered with Enzo, I doubt his attempts at staying on the right side of things have borne much fruit. Maybe we can help with that though.

He didn't say how recently he taught kids. And while it is odd that 5 years and he's had no luck at all with finding another job, being an ex-Frangimentis might be causing his job hunt problem, seeing as they are very much unlearned in a lot of other aspects. Kinda nice of Enzo taking him to be part of his crew tbh. But yeah, the 5 year-ish gap between his teaching stint and being part of Enzo's crew leads to questions.
