Great reaction, Kat! I'd never watched this movie before either! Perhaps someone can help me. All I'm using to watch the movie AND Kat's reaction vid is my Android phone. (Crazy, I know.) The problem is, I tried watching the movie on both Prime & Universal+, but on both of them they weren't able to have both the movie & a picture-in-picture of the reaction at the same time. If I turned on one, the other would shut off automatically. I went to 'settings' & shut off picture-in-picture capability for both websites, thinking that the Patreon picture-in-picture might be antagonistic to the websites' own p-i-p capabilities, but that didn't change anything. Does anyone know a way to get those websites to allow p-i-p to run simultaneously with a movie? I wound up watching the movie on the Wodfix free movie app, which was a pain because, although it allowed p-i-p to run simultaneously with the movie, it turns out that the copy of the movie that is on there is slightly sped up, so I had to pause the movie every few minutes for a couple seconds, in order to realign the movie with Kat's reaction vid. Please, if anyone knows how I might remedy this problem, let me know. I don't have a desktop or laptop at my disposal. Thanks.

The real horror of this movie was that Brandon Lee died on the set from a gunshot at the young age of 28. 4 years younger than his father, Bruce Lee, was when he died. Again, it's not a horror movie, but it is a great film. And I'm starting to think you might have some psychic powers, Kat.

So happy you watched this. I haven’t seen in it in ages. Such a fun rewatch. I thought Sarah was cool as shit as a kid. 😄

Jeff

It's more of a comic book hero with supernatural elements than true horror IMO.

Oh, heck yesss! The Crow is one of my favorite movies! Literally wearing my Crow T-shirt right now! I’m so happy you watched it!

I think The Dark Knight would be a different movie if The Crow didn't exist. The same with The Matrix. It's cool to see how it has inspired the movies that come after it.

So, if you like the story and also enjoy comics or graphic novels, then you might want to check out James O'barr's original stories of The Crow. His fiancée was killed by a drunk driver and O'barr created the character and story as a means to cope with the pain, depression, and intrusive thoughts of revenge that he felt over his loss. Thus, Eric Draven's persona as The Crow was born, sharing a similar tragedy (though more visceral and personally targeted...ripe for plot development) with O'barr. It was published in 1989 and my friends and I were reading it around 1992. Great comic, great story, awesome movie, and super amazing reaction as always. Thanks for watching this one.
