The lead in this movie is literally everything I've ever wanted. Ever. YOU'VE GOTTA WATCH THIS ONE WITH ME!! It's on Crave if you're in Canada!!

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

Josh Link

Yes! One of my favorite home invasion movies. Also, we get acting performances from a couple of horror directors. Fun Easter eggs.

Scot J

I’m an idiot. I thought you did the classic “your” “you’re” reversal, so I smugly came here to correct you. Turns out it was the title of the movie! I’m an idiot.

Scot J

Why are all the best reactioners Canadian? Is there something in the water up there? :)

Justtired

I’ve been asking myself that very question

sarCC

Yes! One of my all-time favorite movies, a really underseen gem. A couple years ago, I got to see it in LA at Tarantino's theater in a double-feature with The House Of The Devil. It was a sold out, packed theater, with some of the cast & crew present, and I really love that they got to see how well it plays to a crowd of fans. One of the funnest, most satisfying movie-going experiences of my life.

If you loved this lead, you would do yourself a graaaaave disservice if you didn't watch Ready or Not. Oh my GOSH talk about everything you're looking for in a horror lead/final girl! Usually when one of these movies is mentioned, the other is as well because of the badassery of the women involved. With House of the Devil mentioned, I gotta say I adore that one for being really on point with the early 80's vibe (which, to nerd right out, is different than mid or late 80's) but made in 2011 by Ti West who's now known for the X/Pearl/Maxxxine trilogy. Thanks for another great reaction!

Anton Hennicker

Great watching along Kat, you finally get the heroine that finishes the job !!!! Along these 'home invaders' line(s), may I suggest a brill take on the gendre with a 2010 flick named Mother's Day starring the wonderful Rebecca De Mornay oustanding as the Mother.

Josh Link

You should definitely check out some of this director’s other films like A Horrible Way to Die, The Guest, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

Eddie Perkins

I've noticed that, too; it's strange. Three of the six people I watch full-length reactions with are from Canada.

sparrowNshy

So excited you watched this one! Someone else mentioned it, you HAVE to watch Ready or Not! Samara Weaving does a freaking PHENOMENAL job, and you will LOVE it!

Julian San

I remember thinking how this was like a feature length Tales From the Crypt movie. Not exactly horror but a suspense thriller like how some of the episodes of the show were suspense thrillers.

Jason_H

It occurred to me that this might be Lynn Peltzer's origin story...

Michael DeBerry

I've been waiting for this one . It's a favorite . Why are some of your past full length reactions no longer on Patreon ? The Exorcist , Hellraiser , Drag Me To Hell and The Thing , are some I noticed that are missing . I was wanting to watch all of your reactions in the future . I really enjoy your channel .

Eddie Perkins

Yeah, I noticed that too; that sucks.

I rent a room to my Sister. Today, I was walking by her bedroom and heard your voice. At first, I thought I was losing my mind because she doesn't even watch YouTube. I asked her to let me in. I was shocked to see you on TV. I had no idea that you were an actress. So I returned to my room, put my TV on the Xumo Ch. and started The Dancing Dogs of Dombrova. And I was impressed that you weren't just in a movie; you're really a good actress. It seems like every time I see you, you either have earbuds or headphones on.

OneOfTheGoodGuyz

I will be checking this out for sure! Thanks for the heads up Eddie. Actress?! Nice….

Scot J

Would you consider watching Scary Movie? I’m pretty sure you’re aware of it, but if not, it’s a comedy covering all the horror movie tropes. I think you’d have a fun time with it like you did Killer Klowns.

sparrowNshy

Ooh, another movie that you might really enjoy is Cabin in the Woods! It references other horror movies and you've probably seen enough that you would really enjoy it!

baxterzeppo

Day off and didn't know what to watch, so I picked a KWH I hadn't seen yet for a movie I hadn't seen in a while, and I'm kicking off my first sync up!

Symon O'Hagan

I have fallen so far behind! The mum is played by horror hero Barbara Crampton. We LOVE Barbara! She was in Re-Animator, Chopping Mall and From Beyond. But the main reason we love her is that she LOVES this stuff! And she's such a sweetie to her fans. You should follow her on Instagram her feed is full of fun and positivity!
