Hi! Some of you may already know this from chatting in the monthly livestream, but I REALLY disliked this movie. If this is your favourite movie, I just wanted to give you fair warning!!!

I’m a huge fan of Rob Zombie. I like his artwork, I like his music, and the videos that he contributed to in the White Zombie era are epic. But I don’t like a single movie he’s directed. I’ve only seen four, I think, and I always leave mad that I wasted my time.

I'm also not generally a fan of mean-spirited movies, there are a few that I'm ok with just because of how they were filmed or when the ending is satisfying but stuff like this is ... just not my jam. This was the last Rob Zombie movie that I watched and never bothered with any of the others after this one. Much appreciation for your honesty and tbf the way you talked about never releasing this video, I thought you'd be a lot harsher lol. It's good to be able to set a boundary and say "this is where I draw the line." You're not going to like *everything* that you watch and now everyone has a better idea of what NOT to recommend.

I didn't know if we were ever going to get to see this reaction. There were several times where I could see in your face that you wanted to turn it off so, I'm proud of you for finishing the movie. I, too, wanted them to die in that fire. It was what they deserved.

Art is subjective anyway but not enjoying watching awful characters doing terrible things shouldn't be a shock to anyone, it is intentionally sick, twisted and relentlessy nasty. I like the movie but it is obviously not for everyone.

So you know I really like you Kat but the Devil's Rejects is something I can't stomach Rob Zombie he emerges every October 1st then on November 1st he crawls back from whatever he crawled out from.

Okay, now tell us how you really feel. You had me laughing so much during this. The last time I saw a movie get a reactor this upset was over another film I recommended. Call *Deliverance* if you haven't seen it; I'm sure you've heard of it, and no, it's not a horror. I guess to some people it might be. Both movies have one thing in common: the humiliating ape scenes. Movies like this aren't meant to make you feel good; if they did, there would be something wrong with you. The sad thing is, there are people like this in the world. And sometimes our taxes support them. Take Charles Manson; our tax dollars paid for him for 40 years. If you’d gotten your wish, this movie would have been over in 20 minutes, instead of them going out in a blaze of glory. But in real life, a lot of these serial killers continue on for years. Okay, you got me preaching. You should check out *Silver Bullet*. I promise it won't upset you like this. Fair warning, don't watch I Spit on Your Grave.

Rob Zombie movies are always the same. Unlikeable characters, sleazy content, upsetting situations. The only one I was able to sit through was Halloween but that's only because I like the movie series...his movies are not for me but art is subjective so the people who like them, like them.

I turned this off after 15 min, 20 years ago. Kat's reaction is the only reason I decided to go back and watch it. As much as I love horror movies. Rob Zombie flicks do nothing for me.

His movies are very mean spirited and alienating. They are a very acquired taste. When I saw you were watching this one, I saw this response coming a mile away. Grimy exploitation horror is NOT for everyone, and there is ZERO shame in that. Proud of you for sticking it out and I am kind of hoping you avoid the third movie. We all love watching you scream and shit yourself in horror, but watching you be genuinely disgusted and upset isnt what we want. If you want something delightful, check out Grabbers. Irish SciFi Horror. Be advised, subtitles are helpful for at least Paddy, unlease you speak drunk irish.
