'Misery meets Cast Away," right? The movie Send Help (2026) was not filmed in British Columbia. Despite some sources listing Canada as a country of origin—which typically refers to financial backing or production partnerships—no physical filming took place there. Filming locations: The island scenes were mainly shot in Thailand, specifically at a rented coconut farm and on the uninhabited island of Ko Hong. To keep everyone safe, the crew had to clear all coconuts from the trees to prevent them from falling on the actors and staff. While Thailand was the primary location for the beach and jungle exteriors, some scenes on the island set were also filmed at Disney Studios Australia in Sydney and in coastal areas of New South Wales. That was a good movie.
