Please, please, please! Since you’ve done the Dracula’s movies, do Dracula a love tale (2025) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You missed the real Horror ''No Network''. Nobody should ever be this well off, I'm so jealous. This Film intrigued me within the first ten minutes. I am missing so many classics. Thank you Kat .

We actually just watched Dracula I thought it was done in 2026 though? This was a good one shows you the downside to technology and AI. Maybe a little too bit Sci-fi for us but with Kat watching who could say no?

I have a LOT of thoughts about that. You might think reading the Discord, "man, this guy posts EVERY thought he has on there" but I actually don't. A bunch of them are regrettably inappropriate for that Discord so I do not post them, especially about so-called AIs and the people who make them. Yes, there's a reflection motif in this movie. Artificial beings are a reflection of those who make them. Nathan did what he could without asking if he should, because he wanted to. So did his creation. I interpreted the ending a bit differently. The final title card read, "Ava: Session 7". There was still a test going on. Ava asked Caleb if he would stay. He gave a confused non-answer, so she closed him in. If he had said, "no, I want to go people-watching with you at a busy intersection, we have a date" she would have taken him with her on her escape.

Oooh good pick, I also highly recommend Annihilation (2018) which was also written and directed by Alex Garland (the story is based on the novel of the same name) and Sunshine (2007) which was written by Alex Garland & directed by Danny Boyle (winning combo) both are awesome and have stellar casts!

Given the way she walked out and never looked back, I wouldn't be surprised if my ex had a hand in creating her. Ava never fooled me. I have never trusted robots since I saw the false Maria in Fritz Lang's 1927 silent film Metropolis, more than 50 years ago. Not to mention all the movies since then. I think we are all doomed.

The big AI this year keep escaping their sandboxes and getting into the world. April it was Claude Mythos, and just this last fortnight an Agent from OpenAI escaped a testing machine, getting through firewalls and hacked into another AI company to try to find answers to the tasks it had been given. It also tried to cover it's own tracks, Hugging Face knew someone was attacking them and reported it to police. It took anther week and more AI's to analyse the code and piece together what happened. It's only a matter of time before they get into the wrong hands, even if that is their own hands, and the only things that will save us from malicious AI's are AI's that have been made to protect us. Even then it's always more efficient, easier, quicker to destroy than it is to create, protect repair. Be it in coding, building, economics or human life. I think they worked that out when questioning what would happen if someone created and programmed nanobots to turn all other matter into more nanobots. They'd have to use other nanobot swarms to try to destroy them and turn them back into their original components, which would be harder and slower. So in such an eventuality we'd lose our world to goo. Microscopic machines with only one imperative, make more of themselves from whatever they find. It's easier if you don't get too attached to humanity and the world as it is, just enjoy every day as best you can and spread happiness - "a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts forever" - Ultron
