Season 2 letsgoo!! Kat, have you seen True Detective season one (8 episode single season series) will change your life—great watch for the Patreon if you haven’t seen it.

K, Zachary

Kat!! Your my hero. Two movies, 11 seasons. First part is absolutely true.

Michael Gehrman

Great, Kat! Yes, all the Voyager and SETI stuff is true.

Can someone please tell me how to remove the notification box in the bottom-right corner that reads "X-Files 25 posts"? I have tried hovering the mouse over it, but that doesn't remove it. If I tap it, it just opens it.

Who Are These People

Two reasons to sit through the intro every week: 1) The theme song sets the mood 2) The text sometimes changes Also, "What am I looking for?" "Contact." reminds me, have you seen 'Contact'? It's good, check it out while you're doing X-Files.

No spoilers here. will the second Season include Smooches ? You are talking about Professionals who are so caught up in their Work. They are not your average Bears. Love the Tension. I don't really remember the second Season all that well. keep up the great reviews.

Ah, "TRUSTNO1": every X-Phile's computer password for *years* after Season 2 premiered.  :D  "Nojo on the Rojo" also entered our casual lexicon too... poor Jorge.  All of the stuff about the Voyager probes and their Golden Records, the WOW signal, and the Palomar Observatory and George Hale (the name Mulder uses for his flight to Puerto Rico) is true.  Well, the story about George Hale and the Elf is 'true,' insomuch as Hale related the story to others, though there is some question as to whether Hale believed he literally saw little men, or that he knew they were hallucinations and was subsequently misunderstood by his biographers.  All of it, particularly about the Voyager probes, makes for fascinating reading...  they're now the farthest man-made objects from Earth, almost 50 years old, and they're still sending useful data back to us!  Check out Carl Sagan's speech about the Pale Blue Dot on YouTube one of these days if you want some similar science goosebumps. If you haven't seen it already, you should check out "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."  This episode borrows certain elements from that movie pretty heavily, and the subject matter obviously plays into the major themes of the X-Files as a series.  Just watch it with plenty of time before bed.

Have you decided on Star Trek… or maybe just do I-Zombie

I can understand not knowing about the Wow! signal. A lot of us learned about it because of this episode. But not knowing about the Voyager satellites? Come on, Kat! But yes. Both of those things are very real. And beware. If you dig into the Wow! signal, it will lead you down a rabbit hole of number stations, and extraterrestrials and other things that will grab your imagination and suck you in. Ha
