Andrew Garfield is in a movie coming out that at least I am dying to see called Uprising. I won't spoil the details but I am a huge fan of English/British history so this my type of movie.

Robert Raszkowski

Well KAT - Mel Gibson knows a thing or two about war movies. It is all relative and matter of opinion but no - not the best war movie. I recommend "We Were Soldiers" with Mel. "Platoon", "Apocalypse Now", "Full Metal Jacket" or even "Saving Private Ryan", "Midway" (from 1976), "Battle of the Bulge", "The Big Red One", "Empire of the Sun". "Das Boot". On the ligther note - "Kelly's Heroes", "A Bridge Too Far", "The Guns of Navarone", "The Dirty Dozen", "The Great Escape", "1941", "Where Eagles Dare", "The Eagle Has Landed" I know I am forgetting some but all of those are classics and a must watch in my opinion. And of course the greates war (commedy) movies ever are polish. But I know You will never watch those. "Jak rozpętałem drugą wojnę światową" / tranlation - "How I unleashed world war 2" or "Zakazane piosenki" / tranlation "Forbidden Songs". Or a serius "Kanał" / translation "Canal". After You watch those - then You can say that "this or that" is the "best movie / scene". ;) I hope You will at least take some of my recommendations under Your consideration. Regards.
