Disclaimer - no poultry was harmed during filming of this episode. Most important thing. :)

Kat’s blood lust continues. “Let her cut you a bit” to the 9yo boy followed by “This little boy’s full of it.” took me out.

Kat, Could you please start Widow's Bay asap Cassie is thinking about doing it. Can we start this before she makes up her mind. Both of you doing at the same time that would be the real crime. Great episode as a former paranormal investigator. Poltergeists can't kill people, they can hurt you. It takes a inhuman spirit to do that to kill.

Proper horror, properly done. One of my favorite episodes. I suggest the movie Oddity for more of the same. Also, Wolf in the Fold from the original Star Trek for more of the same.

She was always religious so I think this is not necessarily “paranormal” in her mind. Regardless, her sceptic meter reset at the beginning of each episode.

The subtitles during the exorcism 😂😂😂👌

Hey Kat, I just watched Dancing Dogs of Dombrova and you were awesome. I don't know where you pulled that performance from but it felt very real.

I believe this is the first episode where Scully directly witnesses and then is directly affected by something paranormal. But of course, she bangs her head, so she can easily rationalize it as the old trauma-induced head-fuzzies. I think she's a little bit more willing to take this one at face value, though, given how the religious angle of demonic possession is technically a tenet of her faith, even if it is a lapsed or amended-for-science faith. Still, I think this episode may be the one where she starts to admit that there's more to the rational world than what rational science can rationally describe. Also, this is that kid's second (and, I guess, third, given the dual role) foray into the X-Files. You saw the child actor before in the first season episode Conduit (where his sister disappears in an alien abduction, and he draws a collage of her face out of ones and zeroes on pieces of paper spread out across his living room).
