This movie is one of the few that has 100% given me nightmares. I'M ALWAYS SCARED IT'S IN MY ROOM. BUT IT'S NOT. IT'S NOT IN MY ROOM. EVEN WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES. I KNOW THIS, BUT IF YOU COULD PLEASE CONFIRM??

HAHAA no way!!!! Not sure I’d have that in a room with me… I have to ACTIVELY tell myself there’s nothing in my room at night after this one… BRUTAL!!

Love The Babadook, such a great film! Jennifer Kent directs another film called "The Nightingale" which is an excellent watch.

I've been too scared to watch this one because I know it's going to get in my head. But now I have to. ... Is this what's it's like when people make you watch movies?? I apologize for it all.

Thomas Yanez

You'll get no complaint from me if you decide to open up the movies you watch beyond horror... just promise us that we'll get extra bonus scary in the Halloween season. Maybe some watching-in-the-dark?

Jeff

Ijt's not in your room. It might be in a word or in a look . . .

Symon O'Hagan

It's 100% in MY room. This is why I don't look in mirrors or open fridge doors anymore.

Ernesto Lopez

I watched along with my blu ray copy, if you sync up that way kat is 15 seconds behind. Just thought I’d help some other patrons.

katwatcheshorrormovies

YES!! I did a bit of reading on the movie after I finished and saw The Nightingale! I GOTTA WATCH IT!!

katwatcheshorrormovies

LOL OOKLA!! First of all, I'm honored you're going to sit through this movie with me even though you've been avoiding it. Second of all, HAHAHA YES IT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT FEELS LIKE!!!

katwatcheshorrormovies

This is VERY GOOD TO KNOW!! I think at some point I will branch out. But first... SO MANY MORE HORROR MOVIES TO SEE!! Maybe I'll start peppering in some general movies too though... TBD!!

katwatcheshorrormovies

LOL SYMON is it just me or is there always a horror behind an open mirror cabinet? AND FRIDGE DOOR COME ON YOU NEVER KNOW!! Hehehe

Gary Payton

I heart you for watching this! I think this movie is the bees knees. Can we get some applause for Essie Davis? She was incredible as the mom. What's your theory about the meaning? I have a theory. Should I post it? Don't want to give away any spoilers to those that havent seen it yet.

katwatcheshorrormovies

I ALSO HAVE A THEORY!!! I discuss a bit at the end of the video this week.... Thank you for being spoiler conscious!! I appreciate that!! I never know I guess who is watching these with me for the first time... what a GREAT MOVIE. EXCITED TO HEAR YOUR TAKE!!! You can also post it and mark it as a SPOILER (blacked out text) in the discord!!

That is some of the worst child acting going in parts . He was just so damn annoying in parts early on. Other than that. Decent film unfortunately he was annoying in most parts. Thanks for the watch along... Have an even better day...
