YES. "I want my cake Bedelia!" Great to hear more of your thoughts at the end!

Yay - one of my favorites! FYI: Creepshow 2 is good but I don't know anyone who thinks it's as good. You've probably seen EC comics before but if not you might like those too; the movie/magazine is patterned after them. And I hope you've since seen who Stephen King was in the movie because it's hilarious. :-)

Josh Link

The little boy at the beginning and end of the movie is Stephen King’s son. He now goes by Joe Hill and is a critically acclaimed horror author and comic book writer in his own right. The movie The Black Phone is based on one of his stories.

Omfg I didn’t think I’d see Creepshow but it’s here! Kat never lets us down and always comes through for us!

Regarding your question about matches, you have to have the right kind, known as self-striking or strike-anywhere matches. The matches you are used to are actually called safety matches, engineered to require a special striking surface so that they require more effort - and actual intent - to light.

What a great film! And so many great actors: E.G. Marshall (see 12 angry men), Tom Atkins, The great Fritz Weaver and Hal Holbrook, and people who only know the post "Airplane" Leslie Nielsen don't know what a first-rate serious actor he was (and Stephen King did his best). And yes, those were real Cockroaches. I know those water bugs of which you speak. Those are the big cruiser-class cockroaches! Yuck! Don't step on them, you can transport their eggs on your shoe!

Eddie Perkins

You didn't miss Stephen King. He looked a little green in this; he played Jordy Verrill in "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill." In "The Crate" episode, Tom Savini created the puppet Fluffy. The American Museum of Natural History provided 20,000 cockroaches for the segment "They're Creeping Up on You." Not one cockroach was killed during the making of This film, And If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you along with some swamp land in Florida. As much as I love animals, I hate to say I didn't cry much over the death of the Cockroaches.

This was SO MUCH FUNNNN. I love watching this movies along with you, your reactions are so exuberant! One of the many EASTER EGG MOMENTS in this film comes in the "Crate" section. The crate is marked with the name "Julia Carpenter" (J. Carpenter) and references an Arctic expedition - and bear in mind that Creepshow came out the same year as "The Thing". Aaaand the actress who plays "call me Billie" in that segment is Adrienne Barbeau - another horror-hero and (at that time) wife of John Carpenter!

aka Taylor Tyler 42.5 K subs. Didn't I tell ya? You are SO good at this. You're gonna keep getting more & more. Congrats on 50 K when you get there. "1408", "The Sixth Sense" and if you're feeling up to a 10 episode series that is excellent, "The Haunting of Hill House". Also "Creepshow II", and "Cujo" are Stephen King adaptations aiso. See Ya Soon! ✌

There is a sequel to creepshow it's not as good as the original but still alot of fun. And stars classic Hollywood actress Dorothy Lamour.

"The Hitchhiker" is my favorite. "Thanks for the ride, lady!!"😉

Loved the reaction. If you haven't seen it, check out John Carpenter's The Fog (1980). It has Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, and Tom Atkins from this film as well as Jamie Lee Curtis and her mother Janet Leigh (Psycho).
