As far as I know, the Hui people, a mostly Muslim ethnic group within China, haven't suffered nearly as much repression and stigma as the Uighurs and other Muslims in the mainland have faced. Is there a reason for that, or do you think the Hui people are going to be the target for the CCP's next "struggle"?

Tony Chopkoski

I have seen mention of them but they did/do have some problems with Han police. It might be because there are less of them.

I've done a bit more research, and it turns out that there are roughly 20.6 million Hui compared to 13.5 million Uyghurs, so numbers wouldn't make sense. I think it's more likely that the Hui haven't faced as many problems as other Chinese Muslims (for now) because they speak Chinese and are culturally closer to the mainstream Han Chinese then the other Chinese Muslims, most of whom are from Turkic ethnicities and speak non-Sinitic languages.

Off topic, but am I the only one that thinks she is hot.

Great to see the ccp stick to gender equality. Men and women are treated with equal respect by Chinese police. In that I mean with no respect, and disproportionate violence.

Why does the woman in the picture look familiar? I'm getting deja vue looking at the thumbnail.
