Will the American and Mexican governments be more willing to do something about the trade in Fentanyl now that they know for certain the CCP's behind it? Or will nothing major happen since the CCP and drug cartels are very good at what they do?

Just call it the Bend and Drug Inticiative

As a Canadian I am so embarrassed by our "snake in the grass" of a PM, Trudeau. We have to pay for all his BS, in so many ways.

David Michael White

What would their governments be willing to do in order to curb their people's desire for these drugs?

Ian Pendleton

I don't disagree, but something like that is bound to be a long, drawn-out process riddled with controversy and shameless people wanting to use such laws to their advantage. I'm hoping that a solution can be reached, but sadly, something like that's probably not going to happen for years.

David Michael White

Well, John Kerry would tell us that we need China's help to fight climate change. 😉

When is Canada's next election? Who do you think has what it takes to be the next prime minister?

John Cheresna

Probably Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre. He is still influenced by the WEF in my opinion, he is also a professional politician, but he will still be better than Trudeau. That is still two very long years away. IMHO Canada is beyond saving, due to the Trudeau's. I am for something called WEXIT.

In no way do I support the CCP, but I have to ask: when US popular culture exports the likes of Breaking Bad (a hugely popular show in China btw) and puts the likes of Walter White on a pedestal, and decriminalizes recreational drugs in spite of its corrosive effects on families and on working and learning individuals and so on, how do you expect any enterprising person, Chinese or not, government-affiliated or not, to not try to get in on the action? Add to that the indoctrinated revenge agenda for the Opium Wars, and the degeneracy and amorality of Chinese communist society, it's actually not surprising at all. Maybe the war on drugs was a failure, but the current surrender to drug culture is unacceptable, and the US needs to get things right at home before we have a leg to stand on expecting other countries to do the right thing.
