Great job this week Dawn with the exception of "Superman II" which sucks but that's fine. Please keep up the good work. You can find "Lonesome Dove" if you look hard enough, and if you ask for help with it I can send it but you will have to like I said ask for it. I have that and the entire first season of "The Twilight Zone" 36 episodes already burned to 2 DVD's sealed in a padded envelope addressed to Peterhead Scotland ready to go. I wish my town had a cool name like Peterhead lol. No on second thought I'm giving Sam Spade a new nickname. Sam Peterhead Spade.

Oh my God you whiney little pansies need to stop crying like babies every time Dawn happens to watch a movie you don’t care for. I guarantee you every single patron here at some point has seen Dawn watch a movie they didn’t care for. The difference? Most of us aren’t whining, entitled little princesses who think the world needs to cater to us and only us!! Inevitably this will happen when a reactor goes against the grain and is seeking out films beyond the most broadbased mainstream normie kibble that YouTube likes to promote for reaction videos. Buck up buttercups or else go find that magical reactor who only ever watches exactly all the movies you like and would prefer. You’ll find them next to a leprechaun and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that exists only to make you happy!

I'm actually really happy to see that I'm not the only one who feels that way about Superman 2 (although I must admit, I recently saw the Donner's Cut and was surprised at how much it got improved). That said: Dawn is such a one-of-a-kind, hilarious reactor, for me it doesn't even matter how good the movie is, it's her quips and her reactions to it. Obviously I love it when she does my favorite movies - which she regularly does, including this week - but I'll DEFINITELY watch her react to Superman 2, even if I skip it with most other channels. (I won't do any of the others Supermans, not even Dawn could make me sit through them!) :D

I know, it's pretty funny. Someone just left a comment in her last Deadwood reaction, complaining "We went from The Godfather....to this." Now, two days later, she posts Godfather Part 2. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! One reason I subscribe to this Patreon is that her reactions are great even if I don't love the movie. And she certainly does a whole slew of movies I love, including this week. I love Godfather Part 2; I don't love Superman 2 or Wild Bunch.....but I will most definitely be watching both reactions, and I wouldn't be surprised if my least favorite movie of the list ends up being my favorite reaction.

Dawn......you remain one of the greatest reactors/reaction channels around. You do a really great job mixing things up. I can't believe how many reaction videos of yours I've watched since the dark days of the pandemic. When I first discovered you, you were doing the Monty Python series, something no one else has done. There was that Christmas you did a movie a day! The Marx Brothers. Woody Freakin' Allen!!!!!! The Donner Cut is better as it’s more consistent with the tone of the first Superman which was pitch perfect. You know when the movies were shot, parts 1 and 2 were shot at the same time, But Richard Donner was fired in the middle of shooting Superman 2 and replaced with a far less accomplished director who went out of his way to use as little as possible of what Donner shot

Superman 2 was the first time we ever got super powered superheroes fighting super powered supervillains on the canvas of the big screen. You have to give it props for that. Though of course in the 40 years since its release, there has been an abundance of superhero movies with CG spectacles. So obviously it’s not going to look as impressive by comparison. But you still have to give the movie props and respect for breaking new ground and giving movie audiences something they had never seen before.
