You can see them two together again in "Big Jake" "Rio Grande" and "Wings of Engles".

Patrick Wayne played the part of Devlin "Dev" Warren. He also appeared/worked in 10 other movies with his father: Rio Grande (1950), The Quiet Man (1952), The High and the Mighty (1954) - as a props assistant, The Conqueror (1956), The Searchers (1956), The Alamo (1960), The Comancheros (1961), Donovan's Reef (1963), The Green Berets (1968) and Big Jake (1971).

You know the beautiful Mrs Warren. That's Lily Munster, Herman Munster's wife. The wimpy Indian agent was Strother Martin from Liberty Valance and True Grit. You've seen him in about 5 movies now

What a joy! Thanks for reacting to this film. I've had a great day, double-featuring this reaction alongide My Darling Clemetine from another reactor. Fun, fun, fun!

Of course Dawn uses the spanking thumbnail.

I have tears of joy and laughter in my eyes. I am so glad you enjoyed this as much as I have over the years. I've seen this dozens of times but never through the eyes of someone who is able to so express themselves in the gleeful and truly wondrous manner that all your Patrons have come to know and adore. Thank you, Miss Dawn, for giving me a memory that I will cherish over and over because I will never watch this movie again without you, my precious "little sister", there in the room with me. P.S. Yes Devlin Warren, who got engaged to his daughter is Mr. Wayne's son. Congratulations on spotting that.

Every time I see this, I remember seeing the film location when stationed in AZ in the 70s. All of the town scenes were filmed in "Old Tucson", and if you went over the rock ridges in the background about 10 miles, you'd be in downtown Tucson/Davis Monthan Air Base. The Sonoran Desert is home to the Saguaro cactus seen in the movie (unlike the organ pipe cactus in 2 Mules...).

Mike McLaughlin

Big thank you, Dawn Marie. Quiet Man, Searchers, and McLintock. Next John Wayne movie options, Rio Grande (Western w/M. O'Hara) or Red River (Western) or The Fighting Seabees (WWII) or The Sands of Iwo Jima (WWII)

I went through there TDY in 76, and stationed at DM 78-81 (355 EMS EOD team), supporting A10s and Titan missiles.

For your edification: Un·pre·pos·ses·sing adjective 1. not particularly attractive or appealing to the eye: "despite his unprepossessing appearance he had an animal magnetism"

Maureen wasn't hitting them on the bum. She was using her hatpin to stab then. A hatpin is a 6–8-inch needle used to secure a Lady's hat to her hair.

I love the two spankings they are hilarious and deserved
