"Beer with benefits" is my new Friday night goal. Also, the idea of Miss Dawn, with her lovely Scottish brogue, good-humorly mocking the Texas accents was very meta. I mean. all of us believe only other people have accents, not ourselves. 🎇 mind blown!

So much to like about this reaction, Dawn! No shortage of LOL one-liners & asides ("Wow, so he is an actual nutter", shock upon discovering the "hide the case" plan worked for you, "I never stop for a police car. Never"🤣, the "flusher noise" panic-button😂🤯), the Texas accent impression 🥰, wanting Moss & Sugar to be buddies🤔???😄, unexpected profundities ("It's too dangerous. The world's changing"), "liking" the psychopath (What can we do? They typically are quite compelling! In movies, anyway), your expressions, gestures & gasps during the entire hotel showdown between them. In short, all the elements of a classic D.M. reaction! One quibble: I did want to see you react to Carla Jean's mama on-screen. She was a hoot, God rest her soul! And again, I'll take Delightful Dawn over Detective Dawn every day of the week & twice on Sunday. Figuring stuff out is just "extra", a bonus ☺️ P.S.- another great new thumbnail pic! P.P.S- you do know the deputy; he murdered Wild Bill in Deadwood. One-Eyed Jack McCall, was it? He's alot funnier & better-looking in this one, eh? 😄

Dawn, I saw this in the theater with a buddy & when the camera panned up to the dead Llewelyn I had to ask him "Is that Moss??", even though it clearly was. Because the protagonist isn't supposed to die & especially off-screen, right? So again, as with Rocky you were understandably thrown off & also as with Rocky, a 2nd viewing of No Country... will elicit an unequivocal B.M.E., imo.

Chigurh spared the gas-station owner because a) after scaring the crap out of him, he was fairly sure the old fella wouldn't mention him to the police & b) he won the coin toss! If he had lost it, that would be a "sign" to Anton that he (the old man) could possibly drop a dime (or a quarter 😁) to the cops about this creepy dude from Dallas with a foreign accent & weird haircut. In that case, the body count would probably have gone up by one. Just a theory. He is crazy, after all! P.S.- Actually, he's not. A psychopath is not the same as one who is psychotic (insane). Psychopaths have no empathy, guilt or remorse & do alot of evil shit. Psychotics hear voices, hallucinate & have delusional beliefs (like that they are actually Napoleon or are worth a zillion dollars or whatever) but aren't typically looking to hurt anyone. You kind of picked up on the difference during the encounter between Anton & Carson. Well-done! 👏👏👏

Dawn, you were concerned that the gas-station owner was giving too much personal info to a stranger. But he figured "If I tell this guy (who is obviously a baddie) a little about myself, then maybe we won't be "strangers" anymore & he won't kill me". He's trying to become a real human person in Anton's eyes, not just a nameless nobody. It was a good idea. Of course, it would not have worked. The coin toss saved him.
