This is the plan but the version of Das Boot that I was gifted is 3.5 hours long 🤣 I certainly wasn't complaining watching it but it may cause a delay. Maybe! We'll try hard to get everything out on time. Google has the run time as like 2.5 hours so I wasn't expecting the extra hour. Boost for me! 😅

Can't wait for your reaction to the wax job in the 40 year old virgin

Louis Marzullo

Great week, D.M. We all knew you couldn't wait long for Rocky 2! 😁 Yo, he ain't autistic, 'punchy' (well, maybe a little of that 😉) or socially awkward! (Not that there's anything wrong with any of those). All will be explained in this one, Rocky-style! And Steve Carell should lead to more Steve Carell, this time! 😄

'Das Boot' Stressful..'Rocky 2' Emotional...'40yr old Virgin'...going in blind, three popular and wildly different films! 😎👍⭐⭐⭐

Björn Karlsson

There are looots of versions of Das boot 😬😄

Take your time on the Das Boot reaction, don't stress yourself over it. That's a long movie.

A bootcut is necessary me thinks. 17 hours is to long... Perhaps some scenes are from the bootcamp 🤔🤔

Hey, hi. Hope you're having a great day and all. I'm new-ish to all this, and I know you don't usually do movie reacts, but I was hoping to get an early request in for a Halloween time review of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. If you haven't seen it already I know you'll love it, and if you have seen it I'm sure you love it. It's basically one long (not that long) themed music video. Hope you're having a great day. 😃❤️✌️

When are you going to get around to watching a Charles Bronson movie Dawn? One with him as the star and not just part of an ensemble. “Death Wish” (1974) and one of the greatest westerns of all time from the director of the Dollars trilogy “Once Upon A Time in the West” (1968)

Just because I like things in 3's, I'll throw in "Mr. Majestyk". I guess you could call it "Death Wish Goes West" but still underrated, imo. James Flack would say "Hard Times", which is fine by me but maybe too much of a good thing for Dawn? Poll-time! One poll a month could be an icons/legends poll, silent-era to present.

Icon poll is a good idea. An icon could apply to actor, actress, or director. Seeing as how Dawn has abandoned the Director’s Cut series… 😔

Just picking the mic back up a moment to point out, as I'm sure everyone knows, that all these puns are left pointless by the fact that the German word "Boot" is pronounced like the English word "boat." Thus: Re-Boat boatleg boatcut boatcamp Cowboy Boat Boatylicious Just sayin'. They're still amusing. (Mic re-dropped.)

😄 Not a psychic, James! You asked me a few months ago whether I thought Dawn would like it!

So, can you spell the Swedish title of the movie in phonetic English, Bjorn? I'm a little confused.

Björn Karlsson

English - boat German - boot Swedish - båt English - The boat German - Das boot Swedish - båten

Björn Karlsson

It's the same pronounciation with båt and boot. In swedish you just add -en. Instead using Das in the begining, or the as in english 🙂
