Paul Newman

So happy to see this pop up! This is my favourite Clint western. An absolute masterpiece!!

Toc

Brilliant. From Stagecoach to Unforgiven. And checking off a bunch of classics, favorites and nuggets, from all time periods, in between. Rio Bravo. Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid. This one. And all the rest! Fantastic. You remain a one and only in the reactorsphere, Dawn! Nothing but gratitude!

JL Green

Ha ha! "Dang Burn" or "Dagburn" Dawn 😆. You're the absolute best👌🏾. Your Western Week theme was fun to watch.

Louis Marzullo

My usual gripe: would have liked at least another ten minutes or so but still a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reaction! ☺️

Bill W

Dawn, Skinny Dubois was played by Anthony James. He was one of the 3 villains in High Plains Drifter.

Bill W

"I killed a man that didn't deserve it. Shot his face out the back of his head cuz I was drunk."(paraphrase) Dawn: Ah well, we've all done things we regret. WTAF??!!

Brandon Williams

Wait, so you can't deal with knives, but you'd like to see that poor drover's teeth come out the back of his head?!

Brandon Williams

16:00 If English Bob would've taken the gun, Little Bill (Gene Hackman) would've shot him down. And yes, that is Dumbledore!

Louis Marzullo

Mr. Bill W & Mr. Brandon Williams: You fellers must be new in these here parts- let me introduce you to "Ms. Dark Dawn Marie"! 😄

Louis Marzullo

Johnny Cash: "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die". Dawn: "That's it?" 😂 Anyone else want to play WWDS?

Robert Inman

Dawn, this did get a Best Picture Oscar, Best Supporting Actor (Gene Hackman), and Best Director (Clint Eastwood). One of it's defining characteristics was the lack of all good heros, all bad villains, and no happy ending.

Robert Nelson

I think you should do a Clint Eastwood week! It could include a couple more of his westerns (like The Outlaw Josey Wales and Pale Rider), but you've also got to see at LEAST the first in his Dirty Harry series (titled Dirty Harry), plus one or two of his war movies, plus Play Misty For Me, Gran Torino... I could go on. That's it!!! A Clint Eastwood MONTH!!! (Some people call me a genius, and now I'm beginning to believe them.) 😉

She already watched Josey Wales and Pale Rider, and Gran Torino, and the Dollars trilogy, and High Plains Drifter. Genius. 😀

Korny

Nobody I watch has reacted to Heartbreak Ridge, I love that movie.

Brandon Williams

There's still enough movies for a "Clint Eastwood Month" if she was feeling extra crazy. But that is it for the Eastwood-directed westerns, sadly.

Duke Pootentooter

I'd like to see her react to "Dirty Dingus Magee" (a 1970 western starring Frank Sinatra, of all people), just so I can listen to her stream of consciousness about the title.

Bill W
>>141042977

Yep Brandon, still a ton of Clint movies left. Personally I'm not crazy about the idea of a whole month of any one particular thing.

Red

For additional westerners I would have to say Once upon a time in the West and How the west West was Won . Both are amazing

Bill W

Robert. Ya never know. People say a lot of crazy things. 😀

Jimmy Walker

As much as you enjoy westerns, Rocky, and base on true life you need to check out "8 seconds" staring Luke Perry. The movie is about the greatest rodeo cowboy ever. I might be biased because of family ties to his home town.

Manny

The best Cowboy film ever is "The Cowboys" with John Wayne.
