Are you gonna dump your purse out in the Live stream? 😀

Nobody fights after smoking a joint unless its SUPER low quality herb! Yes, the effects are immediate & primarily effect just the mind positively. Like drinking, it's NOT for children tho. Unlike drinking, you can smoke as much as you want(or have) & have NO hangovers, ever. It can be either calming or energizing depending on the needs of any moment. Usually, it just causes munchies attacks but violence? NOT the good stuff . . . so I've heard, lol. Great vid, Dawn! Fun! Idk about the title. They arrive at breakfast time maybe forming THEIR club? :)

Retro Maven

Dawn, the director John Hughes knew someone whose school called detention The Breakfast Club. It was a nickname some schools had for it, since students arrived early in the morning around breakfast time for detention. Hughes also considered the title The Lunch Bunch, so it appears he made the right choice!!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is the movie our family watches every Thanksgiving, you will enjoy it.

Bartleby

So this is your introduction to Emilio Estevez. The young actor who played the wrestler. That actor was a big star in that era. He also played real life gunslinger and outlaw Billy the Kid in the western “Young Guns” A real person from the old west who was notorious in his own lifetime and went on to legendary status as an American folk figure. “Young Guns” came out in 1988, when the western as a genre had been dead for many years. This movie brought the genre back and many other westerns would come as a result of “Young Guns” success. I imagine you’ll watch this at some point, but you’ll probably want to watch more of the classic westerns from the 50’s, 60s and 70’s before you get to this era and beyond. And the actor who played the sweet geek, Anthony Michel Hall, got his turn to play the asshole bully in another classic movie. And he did a damn good job of it too. I won’t say what movie as I’m sure you will watch it at some point. It’d be more amusing to see if you recognize him and to be surprised when you see it.

Bartleby

That depends on the individual and the type of marijuana. Sativa strain being up, and indica being more the body relaxant. Remember the Manson Family were smoking dope nonstop. So you can’t say no one is ever violent while high on pot. Not a hard rule.

Casey Fairley

In the end, PEOPLE are SOLELY responsible for what they do, period. In talking just weed, even high, a person is lucid enough to make conscious choices between right & wrong. If they choose wrong, those choices are THEIR mistakes alone, not those of the weed. Bad people WILL do bad things whether they're inebriated or not. Blaming any outside influence is a COP OUT unless forced, tricked, etc, If a person commits violence under the influence of weed, that's on them alone. The drug is incapable of forcing them to do anything. It's NEVER held responsible by law for crimes & goes to prison, the person does. They did the act of malice, not any buzz they received from a joint, before they did it, that "forced" them to do it. That's BS. A buzz from weed is NOT the same as being drunk. Feel free to ask any cop. Alcohol causes inhibitions to be completely impaired & weed does not. When mental health is a factor, that's the cause for malice before any usage even happens. Thus again, it's the person, not the state THEY put themselves in that are to blame because THEY chose it. It's tragically easy to just say no. If it isn't easy for someone to say no, that's THEIR weaknesses & says more about them than ANY substance they've abused which cannot physically hurt anyone when not used or abused at all. Good people don't smoke weed & then just become violent from it. If they do, they were violent or unstable before they did. I've served on a grand jury. Discovering where genuine blame lies & calling it out was the job we were asked to do over 100 times. A Judge & DA were always present & oversaw & guided us closely to make sure indictments served were correct by law.

Casey Fairley

I'm willing to revise what I said to this . . . nobody fights after smoking a joint who's not a violent or unstable a person in some way already. If it's low quality it's liable to have little to no positive effects on a good or bad person anyway. It can either be calming or energizing depending on the needs of any moment. Usually, it just causes munchies attacks but violence? NOT the good stuff . . . at least, not for people who aren't violent or unstable in some way already before trying it out. An overwhelming majority of good people who use it just have fun riding the buzz. Some even enjoy the pain & mental anguish relief it brings too. Why do you think so many US states, its already federally legal, are legalizing it recreationally? No true negative proof has been substantiated it causes harm or can make normal people out of control in any way by itself. That's not the effect it has at all or how it works on the brain & body anyway. . . so I've heard. GOD created it for man. Native Americans used it for peace pipes & medicine. Now in the 21st Century, it's actually confirmed positive effects are medically substantiated & endorsed publicly & by law. Welcome to the New Age.

Also, Emilio Estévez is the son of Martin Sheen (née Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estévez) and brother of Charlie Sheen (Carlos Irwin Estévez). You may know Martin Sheen from his portrayal of Pres. Bartlett in "The West Wing" and Charlie Sheen from "Two and a Half Men."

Bartleby

I don’t think Dawn has seen anything with Martin Sheen or Charlie Sheen yet. At least on the channel. So I don’t know how much that would mean to her at this point. Essential must-see Martin Sheen film “Apocalypse Now” (1979) And an essential must-see Charlie Sheen movie “Platoon” (1986)

Bartleby

Oh wait, I just remembered, Charlie Sheen was in Ferris Bueller and Dawn did know him. So yeah Dawn, that’s Emilio’s brother.

Bartleby

Violent criminals smoke pot too is all I’m saying. LOL Not that Emilio’s character was being violent or criminal. He was just amped and letting out his energy. And if he’s an athlete and his place in his “zone” is physical mastery, you could see him doing what his character was doing in the movie. That’s all.

Casey Fairley

My statements were made because the kids began meanly fussing not too long after smoking a joint. IRL, when weed is strong enough, most likely their isn't any fussing that happens. Everyone is usually chill & zoning a long while. Truth is, these kids were fighting with each other BEFORE they ever blazed. So their fussing wasn't a result of weak weed but just them not getting along. Reality is, the whole situation was just a fictional script written by John Hughes. Shermer, Ohio, etc doesn't truly exist but in the movie which is loosely based on real life. My point I was trying to make was that smoking weed doesn't "cause" fights, violent behavior or violence just because it's been smoked. It's PEOPLE that do that, high, or not high. My post here was only talking about the kids of the Breakfast Club, I was never discussing criminals at large at all, lol. Ofc criminals smoke weed & do violent things. Our news outlets reports that stuff daily. All I was saying, or meant, was that their violent behavior sure didn't come from the weed. It was all THEM. That's it. I hope this clears things up now.

since you enjoy one location movies and Hitchcock movies you would like "Dial M for Murder". Plus, it stars Grace Kelly
