Let me start by saying a very very Merry Christmas to you all and I hope you’re having the best day! I have had the craziest/strangest month and it’s very nearly been a write off 🙈 I apologise sincerely for the lack of uploads especially compared to last year 😅

I know I keep saying this but I have to thank you all for every movie suggestion. I bloody loved Gremlins and would never have seen it if it wasn’t for you ❤️

Lastly, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me in the new year when we go back to at least three uploads a week! I hope to see you all there 🥰

Merry Christmas, Dawn Marie! Just joined here so wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your wonderful channel. I appreciate your brilliant, unforced wit and how organic you keep your reactions. You don’t seem to pander or heavy handedly shoe horn in jokes like some other reactors. You always seem very in the moment, and your reactions feel very heartfelt and pure, flowing naturally from who you are. I especially appreciate that you continue to watch a lot of Old Hollywood (1930s-1960s) films, since though I’m youngish I almost exclusively love movies from that era. I’d love for you to get into the great Hollywood musicals at some point. The Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies might be a good fit for you, since they have a bit of the 1930s zany comedic spirit of the Marx Brothers, but often featured much better songs and some of the greatest dance numbers in history. But what I really hope you’ll react to is the great color musicals of the 40s/50s/60s, when the genre had reached its maturity, with more unified storytelling. These movies are the best that Old Hollywood has to offer imo. There’s one very special film in particular that I recommend- “Meet Me In St. Louis,” a musical starring Judy Garland. It’s the warmest and fuzziest movie of all time. It has cozy, heartwarming family moments, romance, and the most magical seasonal and holiday atmospheres spanning a year in their lives. It’s the all time favorite movie of many true classic movie fans, myself included. You could react to “Meet Me In St. Louis” during the Christmas season (it’s traditionally played on tv then and its climax involves Christmas,) but you could also legitimately react to it any time of year since it features all of the seasons. Anyway, Merry Christmas! And thanks for keeping it real.

Dawn I have put together a box filled with DVD's for you if you have any of these titles and don't need a second copy of them please let me know and I will hold onto it. So far the list in no particular order includes : "Platoon", "Carlito's Way", "Barry Lydon", "Super Troopers", "They Live", "Pinapple Express", "Backdraft", "Ed Wood", "Rocketeer", "Ghostbusters", "Open Range", " Nacho Libre", "Things To Come", "The Poseidon Adventure" , "Gone In 60 Seconds" , "Inception" , "The Raid", "Blades Of Glory", "Casino" , "The Killing Feilds" , "Stand By Me", "The Pacific" (sequel to Band of Brothers) and seeing as doing a foreign language movie is a thing you haven't yet tried I also included "Throne of Blood" a Japanese retelling of the tale of your great fictional countryman Macbeth I thought that would be a good start to the idea. Any thoughts just let me know it tops out at 22 movies and one very good series in "The Pacific" I think that should at least give you some extra options when it comes to making some " content". I will send them in a couple of days so again let me know if you already have any of them, sorry I couldn't find my copy of "Fitzcarraldo" I don't know we're I put it.xxx Merry Christmas xxx

Sorry you're dealing with Covid and Michael's nasty stuff. I'll leave it alone, unless it comes back at me. I never liked bullies and well, my philosophy is it's not only okay, but it's fun to bully the bullies. I just don't like what I am hearing he's said and done to Dawn. You're 100% correct this is her channel, and every movie we request, it's a suggestion. Most of us enjoy Dawn's reactions, that is why we are here. And if she reacts to a movie we don't like as much, we either do the mature thing by not watching, or watch and go with the flow. We don't have a temper tantrum and yell at the influencer who is doing the best she can and dealing with recent health issues, which makes Michael's back and forth and targeted harassment doubly despicable. I usually suggest things via PMs, which she does read and answer : ) I don't like bullies (*TROLLS!*) either. I got introduced to the whole troll phenomenon late, as in the summer of 2020. One of my favorite bands did over 300 livestreams from their garage (and basement after they moved) between March 2020 and March 2022, four per week without fail and at least an hour or to each time (up to 3 hrs), just to perform live for their fans. Some people in the live chat were less than amicable shall we say, and most of us just blocked each one as they came up. That band is The SoapGirls: two sisters from South Africa who play a mix of grungy garage rock, punk and power-pop. It's hard to pin them down to a genre. They've now had THREE US tours (two this year!) and are one of THE hardest working bands in music today, especially given they are 100% DIY. We fans (The SoapSuds) found that responding to the troll bullies mostly bolstered them into bigger rants and so on, so we learned to ignore them. I know it's not easy and certain things said make one want to retaliate. I will only do that if that person is in my face live, and even then I show as much restraint as I can.
