So, due to the now twice images get fucked due to image hosting platforms, we're going to start doing something new: storing files locally.

This will mean all games going forward will now be ZIP FILES, with all the necessary pictures filed neatly inside so that the game will not require an internet connection.

But, wait, how would people play this on mobile then??

Glad you asked: the games will still work on mobile. Whenever a picture is called, it will check for the local file first, but if it doesn't find it, it will switch to finding the picture on the internet as it always had been doing. This means you can still play the game on mobile, but you will need internet access. And there is a non-100% chance you will be safe from another image hosting fuck-up. (unlike local file sourcing, which is completely safe)

Another thing: Along with the zip file, I'm going to be putting the raw HTML file in the attachments of each game launch, so that anyone on mobile phones can just download the thing from there instead of having to unzip the file, then transfer it to your phone and all that.

By the way, now that I'm on the topic, how many of you enjoy our games on mobile? Is there a lot of you? I'm curious about it.

I've been occasionally playing them on mobile, having been a little used to not having images on other games of the same style, it wasn't that big of a deal having to imagine the maps.

I do play your games on my phone

Chaos/Ruin - (Defied Realities)

Interesting. I started making games because I would personally always get lost in them, due to the weird navigation and having to, as you said, imagine the maps. It's why images are very important to me to be shown

I'd say I play about 50/50 of the time between pc and mobile

The images, animations, minigames and overall presentation of your games are what set them apart from others! It's certainly a better experience to play them with images, however, it's still great that the games themselves aren't dependant on them as long as you have a good enough imagination or memory.

I play most of the time on mobile! There are a few games with mini games that require things like fast clicking that are difficult to do on a touch screen though.

Mobile player here! Almost exclusively and on a Fold, as well.

RedBaron521

Non-Mobile player here. gaming on the phone just doesn't feel right to me.

Honestly mostly play on my phone. It works pretty good when forcing desktop view. I even got an app to run a local server. So I can have local images working.

I'm playing mine on mobile, but I have an android so I may be able to kajigger it into working with the local image files. I'll let you know how it works.

I knew something was wrong when the same technical difficulties and then some returned. I do want to Voice something that's been a concern and that is not everybody has the speed necessary plus some of them seem to go above the amount most people can type on a Computer to the point that I'm worry they might break something succeeding and sometimes the Turn Off Minigames function doesn't work. I definitely think that a large number of the issues with both the Mobile And Computer variations need be fixed as well. The Zip File needs to be adjusted for a majority of Mobile And Computers/Laptops/Tablets.
