If this isn’t the funniest episode in so long, I’m not sure what is LMAOOOO The Pause. The Realization. The Initial Freakout. The Lack of Denial. Everything was PERFECT LMAO While I’m sure Inoue will handle it well after she calms down, I do not blame her one bit for freaking out. Unlike Keisuke, she didn’t have a clue that Souta was even into Nao, let alone guys in general. And frankly, I’d probably scream too. I’d be supportive, but I will scream. in a lot of romances I read all of the mc's friends are somehow just aware of their crush, which can be funny too, but I think this way of letting souta's close friends slowly find out, and then him realising that they still accept him all the same (hopefully), is such a lovely way of portraying it

I think my favorite thing here is that Souta doesn’t try to deny or make something up to cover his honest reaction it right away. He has a tendency to do that when he’s embarrassed 😅 I think of when Keisuke asked if Souta and Nao were a couple, and when Nao asked if Souta wanted to try kissing. But here he just says it slipped out rather than covering. And that is so special! Inoue must really make him feel seen and safe. Hopefully he won’t back track next update 😂
