THIS GOT SO SPICY SO QUICK!! 😲 I was expecting intensity and snapping from Iseya, but not toward anyone except Souta. This went in a completely different direction, and I love that! Such a great, enthralling story! It's interesting to see that Nao's pattern of coping is anger and aggression. It's nice to see him standing up for his friend, but I know this isn't going anywhere good. Not initially. Hopefully, a helping hand can pull him back until he gets level-headed again.

I love the protective Nao. I think it's sweet that he's allowing himself to feel emotional bonds with someone. It being anger is not the best though.

LOOOOOOOL. I know the kid teasing Souta didn't mean any harm, but we do know that while Souta doesn't outwardly complain, these harsh words feed into his psyche and sense of self. People make him think that he's no good and dumb and they reinforce it over and over again. Nao was right to defend him. Heck, they're not even friends and the dude just grifted Nao so he could get a good grade and benefit from his smarts. I don't think he's a bad guy, but he needed to know what he did wasn't cool. While Nao should have been less aggressive, because obviously now the dude is not being receptive to what he has to say and is on the defense, it's obvious that when Nao said it "gently" he didn't take it seriously so he did need to be called out.

Hey someone probably already pointed this out but the phrase “did I stutter” has been identified as ableist by many people who actually do stutter. It can be demeaning to people with speech impediments. Instead, you could say “was I not clear?” Or “you heard me”. Most people aren’t aware of this, so i thought I would share. I probably didn’t explain it the best here but There are some great resources available on why some people don’t like when fluent people/characters use this or similar phrases. All of that said, Great episode as usual :)

Some of y’all in these comments need to remember that a) he’s a teenager and b) he just lost his mom. He’s not gonna act rationally or be “unproblematic” he’s gonna be hurt and traumatized and not know how to deal with all the emotions
