I like how the teacher obviously knows something is wrong

DearNeptune!

Not a marble. 😭🤣💀 Nao lashing out and hurting Takeo isn't funny, but the boy is very quick-witted and knows how to cut deep. I hope he gets some support from his teacher. Though, I doubt Nao will crack on his personal life so easily. What's sad is that Nao does wanna fight. Anything besides feeling gutted and abandoned. Kinda unsettling to see Takeo angry. He may be regularly light-hearted, but I'm sure the intelligence jabs hit hard for him, too. Not because he struggles in school, but because it's not fun for anyone to be told, they're stupid.

Teacher: What’s going on? Takeo: He’s making me face the consequences of my actions! Have him expelled!!

I like that the teacher seems nice! He's not the "OK I DON'T CARE WHO STARTED IT BUT YOU ALL GET DETENTION" type

Pandyakuza

Aye, reminding me of the days with my mother too. I was a ball of anger x) Worst is, he must know what he's doing is stupid but can't help. Not knowing where to get help or a good ear ! Hope the boy will be fine ☺️

This gives me such bad omens...

I hope the teacher can talk him down some. I know he’s going through a lot. But we do still love him standing up for Souta even if it was a bit MUCH.

The teacher knows 😭

I have never heard "as sharp as a marble" but it is now my favorite phrase.

I do deeply appreciate how Souta and Nao jump to defend each other by instinct even by things that don't seem to particularly bother themselves Like Souta doesn't like it but since he has been called genki for so long and coming from a friend he can let it roll and distinguish it comes just from an interaction with a friend that honestly isn't aware that Souta actually dislikes it Or Nao who doesn't really care about getting in trouble with teachers since it has happened so many times in his life But they both recognize the innate unfairness of it I also do like that the teacher as an informed member of the school staff understands that Nao is obviously on the edge and most likely to get into emotional in class, I enjoy that the adults are being mindful and responsible of the kids going through stuff

Btw seeing how Hideki surely knows both Souta's feelings and Nao's depression (or that something is up with him), I wonder how he is feeling about this
