It's a testament to how goddamn well written and developed this romance is that we're all *nervous* about this, because that's what it feels like when you're actually about to kiss someone for the first time in real life You can't replicate that same feeling in fiction unless you manage to get your reader *REALLY* invested to the point that it feels real, and earned, and tangible, which this does. I continue to be floored by this comic, it's really on another level

So, I think everyone here is getting a bit ahead of themselves lol. While we know Souta has feelings, we can't say the same about Nao at all. At this point they just seem like very close friends. Them kissing doesn't make too much sense story-wise given the slow-burn pacing in the comic so far. It's just too soon and would kind of come out of nowhere. What I think is more likely to happen is that Souta has a gay panic moment over the question. Maybe he'll say something like "with me?" and Noa has to clarify himself. But the question would remain stuck in his mind, and the more he thinks it over, the more he realizes what his feelings towards Souta actually are (romantic instead of platonic) And while I'd love for them to kiss, I think I would enjoy Noa getting a chance to explore his own feelings first more. And when they then kiss, it would be all the better for it
