about me:whew... i definitely wasn't as prepared as i thought i was. i learned a lot. thank you to my VAs and friends for making this a hilarious and fun learning experience. it's imperfect but it's mine and i'm very proud of that!full transparency, i 20000% prefer VO over subtitle, since it's closer to my vision when i started. subtitle is just cheaper, faster and more convenient. i have to completely rework the way i film and i love it. the reason it was so delayed was because of lack of organization and preparation on my part, as well as juggling IRL and a few other projects.if i'm being honest, i don't mind posting slowly, but i know social media timelines reward turn and burn. i'm starting to fall out of love with being a "content creator". i used to care so much about meeting invisible deadlines, and i forced myself into crafting stuff i wasn't proud of. i can genuinely say i did the best i could for my first time, and loved every second of it. cringe is dead, no one cares, and there's nothing wrong with trying. anyway, onto the next project...

thank you for your support. because of you i can experiment with creative projects like this. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

I LOVED this. Idrk how else to explain it other than it felt so cosy & intimate to watch. Like your fave anime you snuggle up & binge with the lights low after a long day ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅน

I never clicked so fast ๐Ÿ˜ญ it was so good. This is very much so in my element because all I do is watch anime dubs. You were the first person I started watching subtitles too and I love them, but this just hits so different. The VAโ€™s did so good! And ngl iโ€™m a sucker for male voices sooooo yea he did his big one I was simping. I definitely canโ€™t wait for more. Keirra was so adorable Amirah did her thing. Her soft voice matches the face perfectly. I definitely did feel connected with billy tho, because as someone who grew up in a house full of kids it can be hard and hurt to feel invisible. Especially when the adults then in these situations has favorites, and u feel like burden. You did your big one! Canโ€™t wait for more. Rooting for them already

Words canโ€™t even describe how in love I am with your craft. The passion, dedication, and care you put into your projects really shows. And the way youโ€™re willing to push yourself to try new things is admirable. It inspires me to want to do the same. ๐Ÿค This short was beautiful. I loved it. I felt a lot of comfort watching this. Like it was just sweet. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’• From the cinematography, to the lighting, the pacing, the voicesโ€ฆtens across the board!! Everyone was casted so perfectly. And they did such a good job!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ I really do like the voiceover style. Feels a little more immersive. Not gonna lie, as soon as I heard Billyโ€™s VA i was like ๐Ÿคญ I love me a pretty male voice!! I look forward to your future projects and continuing to support your current ones. Iโ€™ll be rooting for every single one. Also KIERA IS GORGEOUS. Every time she came on the screen Iโ€™m like ugh sheโ€™s so prettyyy ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

KUREHAAAAAAAA OH MY GOSH, Iโ€™VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG!!!!!!! This was actually pure cinema. I loved the direction of this, and I also loved the shots. They were so aesthetically pleasing; everything about this was so good, and I loved the voices. It was so nice. Shout-out to all the voice actors. Everybody did their thing. I absolutely love this short film. I have to watch it again, and again it was amazing. Please continue using VoiceOver for your first time. You did such a great job; it was so good literally so amazing so proud of you!!! (I really relate to Billy's character. We have so many things in common.)๐Ÿ’–

This felt like a deep breath. I loved it!

Riven Wildehart

Very different from your previous works. It conveyed a sweetness, a bit of melancholy, yet hopeful and full of promise. Absolutely adored it.

I donโ€™t have any words to say. This was a masterpiece! All the waiting and excitement was definitely worth it. It was a mixture or coziness and a good vibe of little intimacy. You did so amazing Kureha, thank you so much for this!

Majesty

Billyโ€™s voice is fine af, forgive me. Lovely project Kureha.

Word vomit alert: I think it's really interesting that Billy's biggest fear is being invisible, seeing how it seems he is invisible in his own house, but that is Kiera's habitat. She doesn't talk to her co-workers, she doesn't have friends in or outside her school/work, she only talks to her ball jointed doll. She likes being invisible. They're opposites in that sense. Only in the beginning though. Billy though has to have experienced some sort of invisibility because he has a knack for observing (clocking her fidgeting, taking notes of whatever she says) which I could be wrong but seems like something a loner would pick up. Kiera is also an observer herself because she watches her coworkers go about their conversations and remembers some things that Billy says like his love for sugary coffee. That is sort of the inkling to me that these two are more similar than meets the eye. I also think allowing Billy into her house must have been a big step for her, and an even bigger step to allow him in her room. Rooms are very personal for people and the way she's designed it and makes it really personal. She is her most creative and emotional there. She dresses up there, she conversates with her doll there, she makes clothing, draws, writes. He drawers was her mother's; her objects are well loved and have a story to it. This whole room is clearly special to her. Billy's room in contrast is quite barren. I'm not sure if that's intentional but the contrast struck me. Us not being able to see his room entirely makes me think there is a reason for it. There is nothing to show. She feels safe in her house, it's designed in a way where she won't leave. His room is less personal; it's like he is already planning on leaving at some point. Even as they're alone in her room, the room seems livelier than in the beginning when it was just her. When she's alone, she seems more serious, mellow, crying. Same for him, he's unhappy in his room. When they're together though, it's the first time we see her really laugh and she seems a lot of open. It's like seeing two people who kind of finally see each other. (I think that's the crux of his fear of being invisible. He wants to be seen, and she does too) She's in a space she's comfortable in and sharing it with someone that she feels safe enough to express herself with. That's beautiful to me. I find it interesting that he's trying to chip at her walls throughout this film, but when she tries to chip back, he steps back but not fully. He's not ready to talk about it but like it was for her, he will eventually feel okay enough to talk more. The roles end up reversed. They're both much similar than they think. I am usually not a fan of voice over sims 4 videos, but this video is lowkey convincing me. Anyways, fire as always.

Celestial Star

First of all, I LOVED this and if it became a series, I would be all for it. Second, I feel like I'm low key tripping a bit because I swear to god that I have heard the voice of Billy's VA before but I am not 100% certain. I swear though, the second I heard Billy's VA it felt so familiar. So, now I feel like I'm losing my mind, because I'm going back-and-forth, trying to think of where I might have heard his voice before or if I'm just crazy lol.

This was absolutely beautiful..If there's more projects in the making, I can wait to see them <3
