Patrons, will you go to prom with us?

(Also sorry this is late. Did scheduling it have a technical hiccup? Did I forget to actually hit schedule? Who knows! -Ben)

This movie suuuuuucked. But glad to be here regardless

votejuno

sweet fancy moses!

Kuro

Glad I'm not the only one who picked up on Deadly Premonition vibes with the killer in this. I couldn't find any specifics of them saying Deadly Premonition had any influence on it, but it feels too perfect when the game has a red raincoat wearing killer wielding an axe.

Ian

No YouTube version?

Oscar Hannerz

So I was watching the regular version and about halfway through I went: "What is this wierd thing they did to all the kills. Hmmmm oh yeah, this is the censored version"

Dead Meat

unfortunately the Youtube upload is blocked, but we'll link it if that changes

Gotta say, I love James and Chelsea’s relationship. Obviously we don’t know anything aside from their public persona (kill count, podcast, livestreams etc). But from what we do witness, it seems very healthy and is honestly inspiring to see a couple with such commonality in their interests. I’ve strived my whole life to find someone who loves my interests too but it’s never worked out cause I’m into very nerdy stuff 😅

Tony Garcia

I look forward to when it does

Chris Mingus

Wow, R.L. Stine is looking old.

julia s.

When you announced that you were doing this I was like, “oh no poor James”

Vince

James taking a second to just laugh at McMahon getting hurt was the bestttttt 😂

Chris McLarry

This is the most I've laughed at the to the numbers bit. That was hilarious 😂

Gage Tolin

Thank you for bringing up the implied lesbian interest. The whole time I was expecting the Laurie and Megan to kiss, or even for Megan to confess. The vibes felt there.

Sam Stant

What does James say when the mannequin falls on him!? CC had “Dutch, I’ll fight!”

James Toze

The prom dresses are the weirdest thing for me. This was the easiest way to date the film to the eighties but none of the dresses went for that stereotypical style.

Mark Lynn

Still keen to see James cover the rest of Prom Night franchise including the loose remake even if it's as much a bitter disappointment to this movie

Jimmie Maghes

Some of the line delivery in this movie was rough and the last act was a mess but some of the kills were gnarly . The kill count was better than the movie itself.

Jimmie Maghes

I love when James and Chelsea are goofballs together.

Gary Vasut

A Beatles reference, a Rush reference, and a SOAD reference. James is fuckin’ cooking

marybellefleur

They're so cute when they dance 😊

Christopher Higgins

James's comments on this movie should be added to CinemaSins

Dead Meat

Cookin a meal fit for a middle aged man!

Nick

Yessss thank you for doing the dance off

Logan Arnold

I find myself agreeing with James on a lot about this movie, but on other things not at all 😂 I agree that the movie did a terrible job at seeming like the '80s as well as being super basic and boring. However, I did not love the previous trilogy, so I didn't really think the absence of Janiak changed much for me. Also the kills here left me really disappointed after what we got in the previous three films. IDK if its just because I watched it in the dark without my glasses on, but the gore looked not the best.

Logan Arnold

Great video though as always! The dance off at the end was perfect!

Clayton Moquet

This movie was so lame, yeah. I did really enjoy the mean girl though, she gave me very big shades of Kimberlin Brown aka Sheila Carter on Young & the Restless/Bold & the Beautiful. The actress even bares a pretty big resemblance to her. Melissa was also enjoyable, and the nutty mom was fun outside of the weird growling stuff. Definitely was a big disappointment (and way too god damn long) after the original Fear Street trilogy!

Taylor Pickard

The movie was trash but the kill count was great!! Keep up the good work love the channel

Kimberly

I agree with the criticisms, but still enjoyed this movie. Mainly because of Lori and Megan's characters. They were very likeable and sweet together!

Brian F

Yall's dance-off was best

Eric Ramont

Honestly, it felt more like the literary version of fear street - a bunch of people in Shadyside decide to kill people for the craziest reasons and there's a surprising amount of gore.
