YESSSS i’ve been waiting for this one!! Nosferatu was my favorite horror movie of 2024

In House

Gotta say the BTS here gave me a greater appreciation for the film! Also I'm REALLY missing my ex and this was one of the more iconic films we watched together this was a nostalgic watch Happy holidays y'all! Rest well and here's to a better year with less bullshit

Doug Goodin

That Rave scene was in the list of top ten things I've seen all year.

BadCorps

It has always been my favourite "Behind the Scenes" moment when a character in full costume is just normally chatting. Skarsgard in full dress going "so you think the cape looks good" was just amazing.

Jimmie Maghes

Loved this film. No matter what bill does he always puts his everything into his roles. I love his dedication to his craft. I love the cinematography of this film and it’s just an experience.

Vicki M

Thank you for this Christmas gift. Holidays are difficult but all the horny jokes made me laugh.

AttackOnStuff 22

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Dead Meat Team and Meaties!! I am thankful to be part of such a lovely horror community !!

my_name_is_desh!

All I ask for next year is a phantasm kill count. I've emailed several times but still no phantasm so I can only hope we see it in 2026. Have a Merry Christmas and happy year 🥳 🎊

Bonus Commentary

Totally worth the wait! Exceptional work as always, everyone!

Robert Chase

What do you have against Rhode Island James?

Mark Lynn

Last few hours of Christmas Eve here in Ireland 🎄🇮🇪🌃 thought uploaded on YouTube by now

Anna

Merry Christmas DM team, and everyone else! We celebrate Christmas on the 24th here in Iceland, so we had our gift opening and dinner tonight, but I hope everyone in the US has a very nice Christmas morning tomorrow! :)

Joel Berube

I watched this on opening day almost a year to the day (it'll be tomorrow). I regret not being able to watch it tomorrow, but I'm grateful for this last video for a decent while. I hope everyone else here enjoys a most wonderful Christmas.

meg 🦇

merry christmas! what a spectacular film to end the year on. i can’t think of another film that hit all the marks for me the way that this one did. absolutely incredible

TheMeatMan

one of my favorite movies for sure, the amount of research and appreciation of sticking to the details is almost so good its overwhelming lol. eggers has the sauce and genuinely dont see him running outta that anytime soon

Lestat-TheBratPrince

Between Nosferatu and the new Frankenstein movie this year, my gothic horror heart couldn’t be more pleased with how these movies receptions were. This is the exact style that made me fall in love with the aesthetics and make scared teenage me actually want to watch horror.

ArbiterPrime

Merry Xmas to all in the Dead Meat team, and to all the Dead Meat Fans!!

Christopher Nichols

Merry Christmas Dead Meat! James, Chelsea, Zoran, and all the staff, I hope you've had a wonderful holiday season! This is a great Kill Count. I love all the BTS stuff showing how much of a labor of love this movie was for Eggers and his cast and crew.

Christopher Nichols

But, I'm going to be one of those annoying, pedantic commenters for a moment. You mispronounced the word "hearth," pronouncing the vowel like the word "hear." "Hearth" should be pronounced with a vowel like "heart." Also, "nonpareil" and "sylph," while not common words, are still in the dictionary, meaning "unparalleled (or a thing that is unparalleled)" and "an airy spirit or fairy" respectively. I know deadline crunch means you can't always take time to look things up, but James, I want you to sound as smart as I know you are! :) Enjoy your post-Christmas break and keep on keeping on, everyone!

jelly-003

I kinda wish he mentioned Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s performance, especially during his speech at his family’s funeral…

Shiry0

God, i love this movie

JOSHUA N HAYES

Bill throat singing .... nightmare fuel

McDick700

Late because I only watched the movie yesterday, but merry late Christmas and happy new year to Dead Meat and anybody else who reads this.

McDick700

4:00 He's k-not a k-noblin, he's k-not a k-nelf, he's a K-nock! And we've been Knocked!

McDick700

Something I really loved about this movie was how it invoked the feeling of a black and white movie while still being in color. Much of the film had dull/muted colors, almost mimicking grayscale, and even the more colorful scenes were often tinted heavily one color, like yellow (with sunlight or fire) or blue (because of night), just like in the 1922 movie.

RoboFunky

8:29 Was that a hayley williams reference

Rachel Denham-White

Okay, the puns in this Kill Count are top notch! I'm laughing my head off

Dead Meat

Yeah the second I saw that in the footage I was like "yeah that's going in the video"

Marianne

First video i watch on my gifted patreon subscription! Loved it!!

Mark Lynn

🍾🍹🇮🇪🎇2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ watching this again as no idea what's going to be next/first KC this year

Natasha Lockman

I'm so happy to finally get to see it. I've been a patron before for a commentary track once, so I assumed we had to watch it using a different app like the commentary. I'm so happy to see it's still a yt link! Gonna deep dive and find some bloody kills. Any suggestions of counts that are significantly better in the patreon cut?

Claudinesewingsubs914

So excited to watch...and sad I missed it on the 24th. Happy 2026 Meaties! May this year be full of joy and health for you all and a year without copyright claims!

mortua conjuga

i was stoned when i watched this in the cinema. that carriage ride was so fucking scary 💀💀 i was slack-jawed pretty much the whole time. it felt like imax but it was just a regular screen. it was a such special experience for me. that's how i rung in 2025 (opening day was new year's in the uk) 🖤

mortua conjuga

'i never liked that man' absolutely, walking red flag of a man

The_Birdo

Finally got patreon :]

Jonathan Rosekrans

you are completely fine James and the rest of Dead Meat. Quality over quantity!
