Make sure you Vote: Producer's Picks Poll Part 1

This week there's more Sein and a double DS9 (TNG returns next week)! We're also checkin out Dante's Peak (a Brosnan disaster movie - yes please!) and Romancing the Stone (a long-time channel request)! Looking forward to them all :)I don't know about you guys but this time of year always feels busy to me - tax season 🙄, spring cleaning the house, spring cleaning the yard, finally dealing with all the little errands you put off 'until the new year' and everything you want to get done 'before summer'. But the weather is finally beautiful and the sun is out longer and everything feels so fresh and new 🌞🌞THANK YOU for being here! ♡ I know times are tough for a lot of people right now. I know there are so many awesome creators out there doing similar things. It means so much that those of you who can, choose to be here ♡ A quick reminder to Producers that I'm doing a series of polls with Producer picks only. Every Producer's pick is guaranteed a spot on the polls - so get me your updated picks asap please! If I don't hear from you I will use the last pick you gave me. Hope everyone has a great week! ♡♡♡

xoxo

Jen ♡

Check out my pinned post ALL CONTENT , with everything listed alphabetically! It's always pinned at the top of my page with links to schedule, polls + request site! Also check out Collections tab to see things sorted by genre, decade and series!*Regarding Email Notifications: I know it can be annoying to be emailed every single time I post something. You can change your email notifications on the left hand panel in 'Settings' under 'Email Notifications' (desktop)*Regarding Name in Credits: If you're on a credits tier it can take up to a week to see your name in the credits (though usually within a few days). This is because I sometimes work ahead to get videos ready to post before they go live. If you do not see your name after 1 week please message me and I will make sure to add it. Credits will be listed as your name shows on Patreon. If you don't want your name in credits please message me and I'll remove you from list.*Spoilers: PLEASE no spoilers in comments or in direct messages to me. No "hints" or trying to lead me in the right direction or asking if I want to know something. The point of these reactions is for me to discover things as I go and to be surprised. Thank you, I appreciate it!*Replies to Messages/Comments: Across all platforms I now get hundreds of comments and messages every single day. I do my best to return messages but please do not be offended if I do not reply or if replies take a while. Many larger channels hire people to help them answer messages or reply to comments. I read all comments and messages myself, even if I don't have time to reply. If you leave a comment or message please know I received it and I appreciate it.

*Apple Users: Apple has now added an additional charge for Patreon (ugh). This extra charge ONLY applies if you subscribe to a creator on an apple device. Make sure that if you're signing up for myself or another creator's Patreon that you use a different device other than Apple so you don't get charged extra! You can still access content on Apple device after signing up on different device.Have you checked out my MOVIE REQUEST SITE ?

Every Patron can submit movie requests there and have unlimited upvotes. I use this site to make schedule decisions and polls so make sure you go upvote what you want to see!

Tout prest for spring cleaning. 💜

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

The double DS9 is such a pleasant surprise in more ways than one. First, double DS9 week! Not that I don't love my TNG with all my heart, I absolutely do. But...double DS9 week! Let's go! Second, in this humble fan's opinion, probably the first true banger of the series is incoming. I can't wait for this!

Important DS9 this week

Major Peril

Wow! Dante's Peak AND Romancing the Stone. What a HOT combo! 🔥🔥🔥

fallingupdownthere

Seinfeld, two fun movies and two eps of DS9 (one of them being a banger), great week upcoming.

Geoff S.

I love your positive weekly roundups Jen! 😊

TechJJ

Jen, will you jump on doing The Last of Us Season 2 as episodes come out? Seems like many reactors pushed it up as priority to react immediately upon release this time around.

Over50Gamer

Didn't know tax season for Canadians is around the same time as your US cousins. I just did my taxes today (last-minute scramble like usual for me!) and it was a headache, but i got through with a small refund ✊️ Take it easy on yourself, with your little bun still in the oven. Keeping you and yours in my thoughts.

Great week! Asking everyone to go to Jen's movie recommendation site and upvote "The Wild Robot". It only has 7 votes, and it is way too much of a beautiful, cute, heart-warming movie for so few votes! One of the best animated movies ever. Please vote! Jen's heart needs to see!

Dantes peak, nice

Duet is a really great episode

Kristin

Excited! We get watch Duet a week earlier!

I'm particularly looking forward to ep18 of DS9 one of my Season favourites, and glad you are watching Dante's Peak. I only discovered that film myself about 18 months ago.

Rob Nichols

Great lineup this week. Oh, 98k!

Julian San

I’m expecting Jen’s mind and altogether opinions to be blown away after watching Duet.

Ciaran

LadyHawke will always be my all time favorite movie. I am happy it at least made the list.

Greg In East TN

Dante's Peak! I love that movie! As a novice geologist, I found it quite accurate scientifically. I can't wait ti watch it with you.

Laura Thornley

We're getting to the point with Trek where Voyager is close to the horizon. Which is exciting.

Eric Janssen

It’s always great seeing a new generation of “80’s Movie enthusiasts” discover they’ve never heard of Romancing the Stone… And fun to see their expression when we remind them the director’s next movie was Back to the Future. 😂

Eric Janssen

So, slightly MORE geographically accurate than the other 90’s volcano movie competing at the time, about the volcano erupting out of the streets of downtown LA? 😅

Ian Hunter (NewbieInOttawa)

Plus I think RtS was the first (or 2nd?) of 3 movies Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas starred in together back in the 80s. And they were all good, too.

Eric Janssen

“War of the Roses” is an acquired taste, but put in Danny DeVito context, it’s worth staying to the end. 🐩

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

BtVS 1x12 Prophecy Girl is the one that springs to mind for me, keeping it within the reactor-verse. But yes, absolutely. During the first season where most shows are still finding their footing it's pretty impressive to put out such a banger so early.

Major Peril

The Jewel of the Nile (1985) was the sequel to Romancing the Stone and would be the second movie of the three starring Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas. It's also worth seeing.

John DiGiantomasso

Romancing the Stone is a great comedy with solid action-adventure/love story elements built in. Excellent writing and acting.

Paul Sophocleous

You're going to love Duet. It is an absolute MASTERPIECE and is one of the best episodes of any series of Trek ever made.
