Getting close to the finale. 😁

Kane Is Able

Oh, did we not tell you about Attached? I'm certain we meant to tell to skip that episode. There's no way Jen would enjoy an episode where Jean Luc and Beverly have to be honest about their feelings about each other.

Mark T

Great episode. Jean Luc finally unable to control or conceal his feelings makes him so vunerable.

Summer

I would take it but might try to get my communicator or make the tricorter a communicator

ok as a genx of kiss history i'd like to be point out that back then there was no such thing as a friend kiss of any type. any kiss is out of love plain and simple. the real kissing after that, shoot aint NOTHING to how its percieved these days lol

Brian Straight

Squeee!!! Can't wait to watch this one with you.

Brian Straight

Tell me them realizing together they just want simple breakfast meals together isn't just the cutest thing ever.

Beverly decided not to move forward, and it seems like they'll be the closest of friends - but the emotions between them are hanging there big time...no matter what happens, there's a lot of unresolved stuff between them. Great episode. I doubt Picard and Beverly are hooking up. Even in this free love future, they just don't seem like the types, especially Picard.

I feel like Picard learned how hard it was to have an on ship romance from the episode 'Lessons'. I don't know what would be different this time. He sends Crusher down on plenty of away missions. I suppose only Beverly remembered that (Lesson)

scott osborne

it only took you 23 mins to notice why the episode is called attached but that's not to bad there are people out there that never notice or even notice the title of the episode this episode is in my top 10 episodes of tng

This episode reminded me of, back in my stomping grounds of Chicago in my 20's, I hung around with a couple best friends. Between us, when others hung around with us, we hardly had to say a word to each other to communicate what we were thinking, and it drove some of our other, lesser, friends nutz! 🤣 It's more rare to find connections like that as you get older, so I miss that. The ending of this episode, I hope Picard made good use of a very cold sonic shower.

I can't help but wonder if the retro sci-fi gear the ambassador had in his room were props from Paramount storage. Like, *all* of it! 'Attached' felt like an attempt to finally - *finally* - throw a bone to all the Picard-Crusher shippers that had been gestating since the start of the show. Don't know if it really resolved anything though, the conclusion coming off like another reset to status quo.

George Foot

That can't possibly be correct - Insurrection released about two years later than First Contact, there's no way Jen would end up watching them just one month apart

Georgius Agricola

Sorry, Jen, Picard's heart already belongs to another: The Enterprise! In ST TOS, Kirk was 'infected' by the tears of an alien woman (beautiful, of course!). The infection caused an attraction that distracted Kirk when the Enterprise came under attack, and McCoy was meantime searching for an antidote. In the end, Kirk triumphed, and when McCoy exclaimed he had found an antidote, Spock simply observed "The antidote to a woman of Elas, Doctor, is a starship. The Enterprise infected the captain long before the Dohlman did." Beverly stands no chance! ;-) (This doesn’t mean that Picard and Crusher can’t hook up. Kirk had more ass than a toilet seat, but the Enterprise remained his main squeeze.)

Further proof that AI is a waste of time in most scenarios.

id have to recheck i didnt really care about insurrection.

rubberkidney

wow, it must just be a fad like these computer things. itll all go away soon enough dont worry

Sykonee

Heh, I think I recall JMS once hinting at it also being in B5, but he wasn't allowed to outright point it out, since the prop had become something of an industry Easter Egg by the '90s.

Jeff Seely

I don't know of anyone who cares about this episode's B-plot. I consider it nothing more than window dressing for the main event. I was disappointed that they didn't give romance a shot at the end, but I understood where Beverly was coming from. I think she was just scared that she was about to ruin a good thing, and Picard is of course too much of a gentleman to push the matter any further.

Jeff Seely

I don't see Riker and Troi hooking up either. Whether we're talking about Picard and Crusher or Riker and Troi, there's too much personal history and too many feelings involved. Hooking up without pursuing a real romantic commitment would be a terrible idea. Feelings are inevitably going to get stirred up regardless of their intentions going in; and if things go sour, they can't really get away from each other since they're both serving in senior positions on the same ship.

Mike Fox

One thing I will say - Riker, for all his years working with Picard, all his poker play, all his experience, and he still let's his emotions run wild all over his face. You'd think by now he'd be better at it.

Michael B.

November 9, 2025 for the last epsiode of TNG is quite possibly correct based on Jen's watch rare so far, but there is no reason for Jen to spread out the movies like that. She can mostly view them at her leisure after she is done with the series. I would guess she will be far enough into Deep Space Nine by then for the small overlap between that show and the second TNG movie, First Contact.

rubberkidney

yea idk it fucked something up i was just curious and i thought i might be accurate

Paul Sophocleous

I swear, in the scene where Picard is testing the grating on the cell window, he gets his finger stuck.
