William Rosmer

sometimes i feel like worf in this episode. like i wake up in a different universe where things are slightly different

Dylan

This is a great episode. It’s definitely in my top 10 favourite Star Trek episodes.

John DiGiantomasso

My favorite part of this episode is "crazy-hair Riker" screaming, " The Borg are everywhere!!!" I love this one!

Curran Dobbs

The Argus Array from this episode is the same one from the episode where Barcley became a super genius.

Struzzylive

i have waited a YEAR for her to finally see this one!

Struzzylive

i have come prepared with the cake. chocolarte or yellow oddly enough my brithday is the 27th lol

Banes

Fantastic episode! Easily the best of the season so far. Been looking forward to this one. How shocking is the Worf/Deanna marriage, and romantic possibilities hinted at the end? As shocking to the viewers, and Jen as it was to Worf, and then Deanna I'd imagine! gotta watch and find out now x)

William Rosmer

also worf asking riker for permission to date troi is proof that klingons adhere to the bro code.

WinkNudgeNudge

I love this episode. Seeing all the little changes was so fun. Like Data with his blue eyes in one of the realities. Nice to see Wesley, too!

Summer

One of the best of season 7

Brian Straight

No cellular peptide cake with mint frosting?

Banes

Good stuff. Yeah, the little changes in the background are fun. Nurse Ogawa becoming the Doctor at one point, and Data with blue eyes in the scene with Worf and Data in Engineering!

Julian San

Jen, that was most definitely a treacherous Cardie 🥄👦🏻 on the bridge 🤣

John DiGiantomasso

Oh, a subtle thing I noticed for the FIRST TIME(!) when Worf is talking to Data in Engineering (when he makes the "Geordi was here every time" connection), Data has blue eyes.

Fanchman

Sorry the credits got you. I know it is hard to avoid guest stars sometimes. I still don't understand why the show runners do that. Fair warning, it may happen again - DS9 included. Stay vigilant.

Opti_Frog

Raggedy Riker refusing to return to his Borg-infested universe is one of my favourite Trek moments ever. Chills every time.

Jeremy Nuss

Data's eyes were blue in one universe 🙂

jon bolton

Jen, i'm typing this before I watch your reaction. I think (and hope) you will really love this one. It's my second favourite TNG episode, after The Next Phase (when Geordie and Ro were thought to be dead).

Michael Jung

I noticed that for the first time!

jon bolton

I'm glad my prediction was right that you'd love this (almost as much as i do). One change you might not have picked up on, or at least didn't mention was in one reality they had a Cardassian in Starfleet uniform working on the bridge lol, which i love given the current Starfleet and Cardassian tensions in our regular reality.

Clay F

A banger episode. Worf and Troi make a good couple.

Over50Gamer

This is a fan-favorite and easily one of the top 20, if not top 10, episodes. If you like reading books, I highly recommend Peter David's "Q-Squared". He was a fantastic writer (recently passed, RIP) that did justice to Trek, along with other comic book and television properties. That book deals with alternate realities and references quite a few TOS and TNG episodes, including this one. It's one of my all-time favorite books!

Struzzylive

The only time I’m blan….. wait has she seen that one yet?

Summer

I like episodes more when watching with Jen

Joel

And why not champagne? He has a championship to celebrate ;)

Joel

Agreed, LOVE this

Sykonee

Guess you could say the Mandela Effect was in... full effect, this episode.

Rob Nichols

It's the "unbridled enthusiasm".

TigerMyth

How did you miss the chocolate cake. You even commented on the cake when he cut it. I was actually expecting a comment from you about Trois and chocolate.

Summer

Month or so ago the episode Phantasms

phillip giroux

A lot of people say the show went downhill a bit in the last couple seasons, but some of my personal favourites are from this season, including this and the next episode. Looking forward to that one!

Curran Dobbs

This episode is Fanfic Fuel. I feel like the different Worfs in the shuttle at the end implied there were alternate Worfs experiencing the same problem, not to mention what happens to the Worfs indigenous to the universes our Worf keeps popping up in.

TigerMyth

What Jen? Nobody has ever said anything bad about a commenter who makes a mistake during a reaction!!! Lol.

TigerMyth

One of my favorite episodes. I love Trois joking about no surprise party because he might want to poke himself with a pain stick. I think they make a great couple and one that would not have happened naturally in his universe because of the bro code. Seeing Riker ok with it in the other universe opened up the possibility.

John DiGiantomasso

Was that in the universe where the Bajorans conquered them? Maybe he just needed a friend... 😪

Gregory Forster, Jr.

There was a scene where Data's eyes were blue, not yellow like usual.

Over50Gamer

Yep! I still have and cherish the hardcover ☺️

Michael B.

I like the subtle differences in the various universes. For example many mentioned Data's eyes being blue in one universe. I personally didn't notice that one. These are the changes I noticed: - The crew has different types of combadges. - In engineering the warp core looks different. - In the last universe where worf is commander the semicircular tactical station on the bridge looks different and there is large panel behind it.

Kane Is Able

Of course, it's convenient for the episode. The episode doesn't work if he immediately jumps to red shirt Worf, or if he jumps to the Enterprise that's almost destroyed by the Borg.

Kane Is Able

I agree, but some of the worst episodes are from this season too.

Clyde Frog

Fun episode and all, but when you really think about it, the plot of this one kind of destroys the entire balance of the world building in the series. Who cares if our Enterprise crew gets blown up and killed? There are an infinite amount of other Enterprise crews out there still. It is just stupid imo. I suppose this episode should be looked at in the same way many crazy Voyager episodes are. Just enjoy it for what it is and dont think about it lmao.

Desmond

Yeah, I don't mind season 7 as much as some fans do. Yes, there are some real stinkers this season. But also a fair number of extremely memorable ones.

Andrew Roach

So Trek did the mulitverse first it seems.

scott osborne

ha yes my fav worf worf worf worf worf episode i only put 5 of him i cant be bothered to do like 275,000 worfs

The Star Treker (aka Michael)

I absolutely love TNG's "Parallels"—watching Worf bounce between alternate realities is such a trip. It's one of those episodes that really sticks with you. The chemistry between Worf and Deanna Troi? Honestly underrated. You can feel something real there, even though her dynamic with Riker is also solid in its own way. I've always been a sucker for stories about parallel universes, time travel, time loops, mind/body swapping—all that mind-bending sci-fi stuff, especially in Star Trek, Stargate, Sliders, and superhero stories. It just never gets old. It's fun, wild, and opens up so many possibilities. 😊

Summer

There should have been a parralel where Lal was there and Keylar

Chris Green

The best thing about watching these is muting my video at the end theme and listening to Jen's version playing over the end credits!
