VOTE: Poll #93 (Weekly polls are back!)

This week we're checkin out more SEIN and more TREK as well as a couple of high school/summertime vibes movies with AMERICAN GRAFFITI and SUPERBAD!

So guys I'm a bit down cause my cat Skinny may be gone 😢 He's an indoor/outdoor cat and has gone out for a couple days sometimes but always comes back. But it's been over a week and my Skinny hasn't come home 😢 We've been out looking for him but no sign. I'm still hopeful because you never know with cats. My old cat was lost for a week once and was eventually found. Skinny loves adventure so I hope wherever he is he's happy. Cross your fingers that he trots on home soon and I hear his lil meow at the back door for kibbles 😢

I hope you guys are enjoying the dog days of summer. The end of August and beginning of September always feels like New Years to me in a way - I guess cause school starts and it always was a new year as a kid. How are you guys winding down your summer?

THANK YOU for being here, you guys are the absolute best! Truly grateful for each one of you ♡♡♡

Hope everyone has a great week! ♡♡♡

xoxo

Jen ♡

Another awesome line up Jen and sending my best wishes and prayers skinny finds his way home 🙏

My sisters cat Juno disappeared for around 10 days earlier in the year and came back. Juno was a little thinner on return and decided for the next month to stay inside but a cat's spirit only changes so much and June eventually wanted out for adventures again but only for 1-2 hours now. They can and do come back. Best wishes Jen on a safe return of Skinny.

I’m praying for Skinny! Cats are carefree and hopefully because it’s summer he’s just out on vacation. I really hope he comes back soon. My family is going through a pet crisis as well and I’m hoping everything works out. ♥️♥️♥️

Rob Nichols

I hope Skinny returns safely. I have no experience with cats but I'd be worried sick if a pet disappeared like that. Looks like another great lineup.

Ian

Oh no ! Fingers crossed and lots of prayers that skinny comes home 🙏🤞 it's true cats can vanish for days , weeks and suddenly come home so sending positive vibes and hugs your way 🫂 .

Matt

My neighbors dog went missing this week but came back about 24 hours later, I hope your cat comes home soon 🤞🤞

Brando83

Try leaving some food out for him, and I've seen people suggest leaving their litter box outside. I've had cats disappear for two weeks (actually, it happened because he saw me being born and ran off). Hoping Skinny comes home soon...

Clay F

What a great week. I will watch all five full length reactions. Good luck with your cat Skinny.

Toc

Jen reacting to American Graffiti??!!!!!!! Yes!!! Rock & roll!

Toc

So sorry to hear about Skinny. :(

Rod

I'm keeping positive thoughts for Skinny. One of my cats left home and came back after 7 years, so anything is possible!

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

I feel like you're going to enjoy Thine Own Self, J, for more than one reason. As always, can't wait 🖖

Kane

Fingers crossed for your cat, hope if he's not back soon he's happy and healthy and finds his way back eventually. NON SPOILERS // American Graffiti is a total vibes movie. When my movie club watched it the people who liked it and the people who hated it all said almost the exact same things, it either hits you the right way or it doesn't.

Daniel Goldberg

My cat was once gone for much, much longer than usual, but he finally came back in good shape. I’m wishing and hoping the same for you.

Tom’s Art Studio

Keeping you in our thoughts Jen! I hope you see Skinny again soon! 🙏🏻

I had a house cat named Circe. In 1993 she got out and was gone for 3 weeks. I had pretty much given up hope that I would see her again. On a dark and stormy night, I heard her at the door. Sopping wet but none the worse for wear she was back. We had 8 more years together. She was 20 1/2 years old on June 20, 2001 when she finally had to leave for good. I will be praying that your Skinny finds his way back home.

We had a cat lost for a month before and he just turned up. I know its absolutely no consolation but we also had a cat that was missing for a year and then we found out he had been taken in by a family on the other side of our housing estate and he had been living there as happy as anything. Hope he turns up soon.

Fanchman

I really hope your cat comes home. Dogs and cats are part of the family. When my Pepe passed away, it tore me up. He was my little buddy. 😥 I'll be ending the month of August with a Caribbean Cruise, assuming we can avoid these pesky tropical systems. Optimistically looks like Hurricane Erin will pass safely offshore before we leave, but there is more trouble brewing in the Atlantic. 😳 Regardless, I should have two weeks of Trek waiting for me when I return. 🖖

Kristin

I hope skinny comes home soon. We've had a cat go missing for a couple of days and he was found in a neighbors yard, he got lost. Make sure to let the neighborhood know that he's missing so they can all keep watch. Check local shelters, etc... We've been waiting for this week's DS9! One of my husband's favorite episodes.

Randy Aiken

My fingers are crossed for Skinny. Hopefully he just wanted an adventure/vacation before summer was over.

Summer

Poor Skinny! Hopefully he got focused somewhere and comes home soon, maybe by a little special food so if he shows he is rewarded for being home

zynjams

American Graffiti, I love that movie, great movie that launched A list actors. but it's all about the music

Mastervodo

I hope Skinny comes back soon Jen!

Jason Scade

I do hope Skinny's walkabout isn't too long and he returns home safely. 🙏 Sent a little something on your Ko-fi tips page, for a treat for him, when he returns. 💜😻 https://ko-fi.com/jenmurray Superbad is a laugh. 😅 We just did a move, so half the place is still in boxes currently. As is stock I sell. Go looking for Bourbon cologne and find yourself rummaging through a box of frilly knickers. We've all been there. 🙄 13 Tips To Find Your Missing Cat t.ly/Q9iSx How to Find a Lost Cat in 5 Simple Steps t.ly/OKSbp Finding Your Feline Friend: Comprehensive Tips for Locating a Lost Cat t.ly/7F0Fo 12 Effective Ways to Search for a Cat That’s Gone Missing t.ly/rm4dg (All links have been through a URL shortener, then personally checked) If you had to lower weekly output for a bit to free up time for Skinny location plans, I'm sure all us animal lovers wouldn't mind.
