You may or may not have seen the last of Puddy... 🤐

Paul Grodt

Puddy is the BEST. This is what kicked off the actor, Patrick Warburton's incredible career. Emperor's New Groove, Family Guy, Venture Brothers; absolutely delightful actor. Bette Midler is like a 50/50 blend of actress and singer. Beaches is notoriously a "chick-flick" so I don't know whether or not that fits your demographic, but yeah, it's a pretty well done film...starring Bette Midler. She's also a talented comic actress. She stars in Ruthless People, which I count among the funniest movies ever made.

The best John Houseman movie is The Paper Chase from 1973.

Two very memorable episodes! So glad you enjoyed them so much Jen!

J Peterman was a notable vintage clothing catalog in the 90’s. But instead of listing items they would have whimsical stories about the clothes. Here’s a real example: “Out of the corner of your eye, you notice that the man thatching the roof of that sensational thick-walled cottage in Dorset isn’t merely wearing corduroy pants… but extra-wide-wale corduroy pants.” It goes on for while after that haha. Also Peterman went bankrupt in 1999 and the actor who played Peterman (John O’Hurley) became an investor to help revive the company and it’s still going today.

Ruthless People! A cheesy 80s classic.

Nik

The actor literally bought the clothing line after the show. 😂

The understudy plot line was a play on the Nancy Kerrigan / Tonya Harding scandal. The credit scene was a direct reference to Harding's mid-performance request to the Olympic judges because she claimed there was a bolt on the rink.
