Two things: 1. This is the beginning of Nog becoming one of the best Trek characters. The Jake/Nog thing in the first couple of seasons was fine, but it is a glide path from here on. 2. While this is kind of a cliche sci fi premise for the A story, I love that Odo immediately goes to the transporter as a solution. They obviously had to close that door, but too often in sci fi they introduce magic technology and then suddenly forget it exists the moment it could solve a problem easily.
