OMG! It really needs to be Best in Show. It's just so funny and silly. And it would pay homage to Catherine O'Hara, who was just excellent in everything she started in.

Geoff S.

Hope it's Best In Show to get Jen's pooch fix in!

thansen

I hope it's the hilarious Hot Shots. And then the rare funnier sequel Hot Shots Part Deux.

Eirik

Hot shots is one I've been waiting for since I first signed up to patreon. Which I did after watching Jen's Rocky II reaction and watching her becoming a Trekkie real time. I understood that Hot Shots needs to come later, as spoof videos doesn't really work, if one hasn't seen the movies they spoof. But it's time. They hit much of just my kind of humour, and I think and hope Jen will love them too.

Over50Gamer

The amazing and awesome Jackie Chan any day!

To Wa

Hot Shots!

Dean

Really hoping for Hot Shots! And the sequel Hot Shots Part Deux is even better!

thebeefmaster

Hot Shots and Best in Show = Hot Dogs

Marco Borromeo

Point Break is an absolute classic. I love Kathryn Bigelow's work and - no wonder she and James Cameron once found each other professionally and privately - she clearly has the same sharp sense for very smart, dynamic, visual storytelling and pacing like him. To this very day in my opinion.. And well, Keanu and Patrick at their best💪🏻 Hot Shots of course, is one too. I'm sure you'll like that one😁

Byrd N. Hand

It's still odd to me that "Best in Show" has ended up usurping "Waiting for Guffman" (the first of these mockumentaries by Christopher Guest) in popularity. 🤔

Byrd N. Hand

I still consider "Top Secret!" the funniest ZAZ-related movie, but won't be that disappointed if it wins.

Johan Petur Klüver Dam

I still have to actually see Top Secret! but the bits I have seen are pretty good indeed. So I’d have to go with either Hot Shots! or the first Naked Gun.

W T

My Cameron/Bigelow go-to is Strange Days. Young Fiennes, great tropes, pretty moody... something about that movie that really gets me.

Mannygogou

I'd like to see Point Break at some point The Quick and The Dead I always like and Hot Shots is that kooky one...

W T

with how great all these mockumentaries are, it's honestly barely a surprise to me - you latch onto music, chances are you're going to vibe with Spinal Tap. If you grew up reading Vampire stories, What We Do In The Shadows is going to be your favorite thing in the world... and so on. Fair enough I suppose, although people certainly don't know Waiting for Guffman, like, at all. And I guess it's still a lot of chance and success and marketing. It's how I feel about Magnolia within PTA's catalog, or Source Code for Duncan Jones. Hell, I love everything Coen, and their go-to is Hudsucker Proxy, so...

Meng

Smsll Soldiers is a gem. Joe Dante rocks!

Clay F

I voted What About Bob? (1991) -- best movie in the poll. Point Break has good stunts and Lori Petty nice to look at, but overall I think the movie meh w/weak script, especially for people w/o nostalgia -- yet, I've grown to accept Point Break b/c of the interesting dynamic between the two leads. I've never been a fan of The Quick and the Dead (just not that compelling) but I would be willing to give it another try -- yet, currently in last place and unlikely to reach anywhere near 200 votes. As for Small Soldiers, unless you watched as a kid in the late 90s, Small Soldiers is the worst movie in the poll.

Kane

Very confused by anyone voting for less than like 5 of these. This poll is jam packed with really fun movies that will be awesome for reacting.

Vina

Sad to see Friday so low in the polls right now, it's a lot of fun and spawned some classic pop culture references

Toc

No matter what, you should still do Best In Show, Canadian Jen, especially if it's your own personal pick. By all means, watch the poll-winner as well........but no one is going to complain if you add in a Best in Show reaction. I mean......."Best In Show" was practically custom-made for this channel! It will get views on You Tube, it's a popular movie, you are the comedy queen of reactors, and the comedy queen who's in it, Catharine O'Hara just passed, Eugene Levy is in it (and co-created it)......we should practically sing O Canada before it plays! Perfect time to watch it.

Summer

Adding things to the request site https://www.jenmurrayxo.com/ is great, do it and check often you never know what magic will be added you want to vote for

Julian San

Haven’t seen Point Break yet?? We need to fix that ASAP!

Noremac

I feel it's cruel not to vote for Best in Show, considering Jen's love of dogs.

Marco Borromeo

Agreed. Very underrated by many, still. But quite visionary.

Jason Scade

100% agree. 'Best In Show' is A+++ tier USA comedy, it's incredibly understated with its humor. RIP Catherine O'Hara. 🌹♥

Jason Scade

Best in Show and What About Bob are my top two picks from this list. Friday is a laugh, of course.

Mastervodo

It's gotta BE that way!

Byrd N. Hand

"Waiting for Guffman" was all the rage with many people I knew in college... but, then again, neither "Best in Show" nor "A Mighty Wind" had come out yet. 🤷‍♂️ The formula starts wearing thin in "For Your Consideration" and "Mascots," though.

Kragnar

Some didn't know they could vote for more than one.

Kragnar

No responses? Really?

Kragnar

Watched Point Break maaaany moons ago. I can't tell you a single thing about it.

Jen Murray

Dunno how to make it any clearer that you can always vote for multiple on the polls 🤷

Kane

I just meant there were a lot of great choices, should be some fun reactions coming up.

Allen Porter

voted, some good picks in here.

Byrd N. Hand

Also my top 2 - and only - choices.

Bryan Tuck

Small Soldiers is underrated. It's like Toy Story meets Gremlins :)

ellis

Criminal for The Quick and The Dead to be so low in the vote. People don't know what's good for them. Hoping that Best In Show gets through though - been wanting more people to get onto that one for ages. (It's become more popular again recently due to sad events RIP Catherine O'Hara) But it's truly hilarious and it's dogs! Right up Jen's street.

Alexis Vorian

My votes go for Point Break and Small Soldiers, I don't care for Hot Shots.

Jen Murray

Looks like I'm watching at least 2 of these with over 200 votes! Will any others make it to 200?

John DiGiantomasso

If we do Best in Show we have to follow it up with Mighty Wind to exploit Jen's love of music!

To Wa

Hot Shots! Part deux would also get 200 votes!

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

I agree, but I think Jen should at least watch Rambo: First Blood Part II first 😄

Jason Scade

@Arthur 100%, it's essential pre-Hot Shots viewing. :D

Alexis Vorian

Do you have a favorite on the list, Jen?

Trigger

Also to get the best joke Wall Street is a must before Hort Shots Part II

Trigger

What About Bob is a perfect summer vacation comedy if it doesn't make the cut this time

Naomi Corporan

What about bob! Even if it doesn't win, its hilarious and smart. Also there is lore that richard and bill HATED each other on set
