VOTE: Poll #116 ** I will watch ALL movies with over 200 votes! **

This week we're checking out more Sein, more Fut and more Trek! As well I owe you GONE IN 60 SECS which will be posted first thing tomorrow morning, thanks for your patience!! Then the next MCU THOR: THE DARK WORLD and last week's Poll Winner JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS!I have edited ALL Futurama posts to include Watch-Along (no copy needed to sync) links now so please let me know if you have any issues with these! FIND THEM HERE. You can also see in my Alphabetical List of All Content (always pinned at top of page) which videos now have Watch-Along versions available!

Thanks for your feedback on the 'Watch-Along' videos posted so far. It's an experiment to see what works best, before I go ahead and convert my entire back catalogue. For time being I will continue posting some 'Watch-Alongs' for certain movies and shows, but can't guarantee all. As soon as I find a hosting site/drive/process I'm happy with I will look at offering it outright for everything and converting older videos 👍 If anyone has any suggestions let me know! (Won't be posting these directly on Patreon)

✨✨THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE! ✨✨ I am truly grateful to have this community to watch awesome stuff with. I wake up happy every day thinking of all the cool stuff I get to watch ✨ YOU GUYS make this possible!!!!

I think you will really enjoy the effects in Jason and the Argonauts

Geoff S.

I hope the Jason and the Argonauts will lead you to more of this fantasy genre. Sinbad, Clash of the Titans etc. The effects were pretty groundbreaking in their day.

Dylan

Great line up as always Jen. All hits and no misses, appreciate all that you do and keep up the great work as always 🔥

Rob Nichols

Jason and the Argonauts! OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! I've been waiting years for this one, thank you so much for doing it. Rest of the week looks great too.

Banes

Interesting Stuff!! Looks like a great week ahead ✅

Miles E Coburn

Can't wait to see "Jason and the Argonauts" (1963) ! I can't tell you how frightened I was, as an eight year-old boy, when I saw Talos. Sixty- three years later and it still sends shivers up and down my spine.

Dark Helmet

I’m really happy you’re watching Futurama. That’s a great comedy cartoon series.

Dean

Some BANGER DS9 eps this week!! I can’t wait

Batguano

how does the watchalong even work? are you not risking it all with copyright issues?

Gábor Árki

Legally, this would only be viable with a licensing agreement from the copyright holders. Without one, it poses a significant risk. Too much risk IMO. If the copyright owners notice and choose to take legal action, the financial consequences of legal fees and damages payable to the copyright owners could be substantial, especially for the scale of an entire reaction library.

Darryl Low

Thanks for another epic week to look forward to on your channel Jen. Excited for the Argonauts. I think the score for the movie will thrill you. It's a powerhouse haha 😊

Batguano

Thanks. yeah, i suspect if a channel suddenly makes available hundreds of movies that's going to draw attention

Jason Scade

Excited for the 3 movies. Gone In 60 Seconds was a big seller for me, back in the day.

Kristin

Jason and the Argonauts is fantastic!! So excited!! Clash of the Titans (1981) needs a watch afterwards, as it's the height of Ray Harryhausen effects. Such fun!!

Kristin

my husband and I have this same concern. While we appreciate the watch alongs, we are also worried about the copyright infringement issues. I'm particularly worried about the ST reactions, Paramount are not fan friendly when it comes to this.

WallyWeasel

Oo! Good to see the previous episodes of Futurama up. I was going to inquire but wasn't certain if you had kept them all or not. Definitely looking forward to rewatching them again in the future...ama. Heh.

Jason Scade

Thank you for the reminder, Captain. I forgot to use my Feb requests, first time I've ever not used a month's worth of requests. 😭👍

Jason Scade

March requests deployed, Captain. - Send Help (Horror. Rachel McAdams. Dir. by Sam Raimi) 2026 - Calvaire (Euro horror) 2005 - Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (Crime/drama. Dir by the legendary Sam Peckinpah*) 1974 *He practically invented the slo-mo action scenes / shoot-outs / kill scenes with his 1969 Revisionist Western 'The Wild Bunch'. It's about a gang of aging professional gun-slingers, robbers and killers. Very controversial upon its release, due to how violent it was. I consider it one of the best Westerns of all time, it's up there with Unforgiven, True Grit (both versions), The Searchers, Dances With Wolves, etc. etc. It's Reservoir Dogs on horses. The slo-mo action scene techniques he did were so groundbreaking, we're still seeing them influencing movies today. The Matrix, 300, Sherlock Holmes, countless movies from the 2010s and 2020s.

Looks like Jen deleted my previous comment on this issue. All I'll say is that another reactor (Cinebinge) has been doing this for well over a year now.

Miles E Coburn

Well, honestly in my opinion they're (Cinebinge) pretty sketchy anyway. And yeah, they banned me.

Jason Scade

Good call! I've been banging on about Clash of the Titans (1981) since Zeus was in short pants.

Jason Scade

I was also very concerned about this factor. Although King Boomer, who I also Patreon sub too, has been doing watch-a-longs since day #1 to my knowledge, without issue. But that's no guarantee. As the saying goes "it's alright, till it's not alright."

Jason Scade

Did you enjoy 1981's Clash of the Titans?

Jen Murray

I appreciate everyone's concern. I'm aware there's a risk! It is what it is. I haven't decided anything for sure yet

Miles E Coburn

I did. Except for the idiotic mechanical owl. I think it was trying to jump on the bandwagon of having "cute little robots" in virtually every Science Fiction / Fantasy movie and TV show that came after "Star Wars". "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" (1979), "Battlestar Galactica" (1978), and "The Black Hole" (1979) to name a few. Ray Harryhausen did the special effects / stop motion work for both "Jason and the Argonauts" and "Clash of the Titans", so those were treats on their own. And Ray Harryhausen was co-producer on "Clash of the Titans".
