A heisty movie starring 2 of my all-time crushes?! Yay! I don't believe I've ever seen a mix of the genres crime + sports movie so this was an interesting one! Heads up - I had a total dumb moment in this movie and realized it wayyyy later than I should've (that parachute scene would've had a totally different vibe if I'd realized...) Go easy on me please!! 😆

Dylan

Still as great as it was in ‘91. Saw this in theatres and the audience loved it. Unexpected pleasure.

Dylan

The fact that Patrick Swayze was really doing those jumps was awesome, his moves during that first skydiving scene were always cool to me.

Ian

Awesome to see this drop ready for the weekend Jen you're a star ✨ knew you would enjoy this one and can't wait to watch along with you and enjoy your awesome commentary 🔥🎉

Patrick

Ohhh, can't wait to watch this after work. It's gonna be a long 9hr wait

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

"Brah, brah...you got some huge sucker crawling right into your ear!" "SAVED YOUR LIFE, BRAH!" 😂😂

Ian

Brilliant thumbnail btw your expression as always is Gold Jen Gold 🙌🔥

Darryl Low

This is a movie I have never seen, so I'm looking forward to checking it out with your reaction Jen 😊 This was an enjoyable action caper that had you rooting for both sides. Man, that police chief was so annoying. I'm glad he saw stars 😂 Had a lot of fun watching this with you Jen. Another cool surfing movie is Blue Crush. And another "out at sea" adventure thriller is Into the Blue. Thanks for an awesome reaction today Jen 😊

Harvey Lee

Who doesn't love a good heist movie ?👊 And the action is top notch here with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze and I know you were crushing on both of them, Awesome I'll be checking this out after work . Your expression says it all Jen😃🤘 .

Yann Laliberte

Funny that you ask a football movie with Keanu because yes there is one: The Replacements and it's good As for Keanu AND Swayze, there is a movie that every Canadian boys from the 80s like: Youngblood

Jason Scade

Great reaction. I'd not seen before, it's aged well. Though I do prefer Reservoir Dogs (same year). Further heist; Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974 / Eastwood, Bridges) Heist (2001 / Hackman & co.) The Score (2001 / De Niro, Ed Norton) The Driver (1978) The Wild Bunch (1969) Sneakers (1992) Sexy Beast (2000) A Fish Called Wanda (1989) The missus recommends; Tower Heist (heist/comedy - Ben Stiller, Alan Alda) Buster (1988)

Curran Dobbs

Some of my favorite Keanu Reeve characters include Johnny Utah, Johnny Mnemonic, Don Jon, Johnny Silverhand, Jonathan Harker, John Constantine, John Wick, and that guy John from Generation Um...

Curran Dobbs

Tony Stark did call Thor "Point Break" in The Avengers movie. "You got a mean swing, Point Break."

David Grasso

The watch-along doesn’t work, Jen.

Stephen Dias

It had been a while, but I'd seen this one before. I remembered that exciting chase scene (on foot, through alleys and lawns and houses). Very cool.

Kevin Sommerfield

I don't mind Bodhi going out doing what he loved. Yes, he did bad things, but its not like he just got away - he still died, just not in a cage. Letting him choose his manner of death - I'm ok with it. Thanks for the reaction!

Matt

Had never seen this one but thought I'd check it out for first time with your reaction, pretty cool movie had some cool vibes and some good action

Matt

Blue Crush 2002 is a pretty good surfing movie if ya ever wanna catch some waves 🤙🌊

Matt

Dude really wanted to be called John 🤣

Elliot

Some fun facts. The final waves in the movie were filmed at Waimea Bay, Hawaii, not Bondi Beach and cliffs and scenery were at Indian and Cannon Beach, Oregon. They paid a surf lifesaver to wipe out 3 times on those crazy waves.

HeWhoLooksSkyward

That last jump still kills me. As a former paratrooper, I can tell you there's no way Keanu could have caught Swayze like that. Mythbusters even proved it couldn't be done. Other than that, fun movie. :)

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

Football movie with Keanu was The Replacements. I would also recommend The Watcher, Chain Reaction and Hardball. For Swayze Road House and Black Dog! 🤓

Can u be more specific? If u are trying to watch on iPhone this is a known issue that may not be able to play

bryon wilcock

I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned this but to be fair the way Johnny allowed himself to go skydiving with the man he just chased knowing who he was and knowing that he was made as an agent is probably why your brain took a minute to connect those dots so I can totally see how it being a first time watch it took you a minute so give yourself a break✌️

David Grasso

I was trying on iPhone so maybe that’s the problem. Thank you for responding.

Ian

The devils advocate is on Jen's channel as is red dawn 👍

Steve Holton

To answer your question, yes there are different size surfboards for different purposes and skill levels. Smaller boards are easier to turn, but are tougher to control and don’t provide as much paddle speed. 🏄🏻‍♂️ Big wave surfers used to need bigger boards for increased stability and to reach optimal wave position, but tow in surfing has mitigated that a bit. 🌊 To reach the waves in this film they would need to paddle a lot from these Southern California beaches since most of the surfing was filmed in Hawaii. 😊

Geoff S.

I think the guy that was shot in the foot is Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And yes that was a Roadhouse reference in that one line. Roadhouse had come out a year or two before.

The_Truth

This movie reminds me of Death Blow! When someone tries to blow you up, not because of who you are, but for different reasons altogether
