Wow you got it going on today with the shirt and Zoidberg plushie! Set a course for adventure is a line in the Love Boat theme song! And I think the owls are supposed to be the rats in this world. The sign in Bender's apart reads "Primitive Human Found In Cryo Tube" and I loved how the asylum is named after HAL from 2001.

For me, the embedded player always played double (it looked like two copies of the video stacked on top of each other), but refreshing the page fixed it. Using the "Full Reaction" link is one extra click, so I'm fine with that if it fixes bigger issues for others.

Funny she didn't spot the HAL reference. But, like Jen's been saying, you have to CONSTANTLY be watching for gags and references. I keep spotting new things every time I watch, and I've been watching since it was first broadcast. In fact, I was watching Jen's reaction to "I Second That Emotion" and, when she spotted Bender getting the "third, third, and third" out of the fridge, I noticed that behind THAT was a bottle of "Calculon's Own" BBQ sauce - an obvious reference to "Newman's Own"!

Nurse Ratchet is referencing the nurse from One Who Flew Over the Cockoos Nest. Louise Fletcher is the actress, and she plays Kai Winn.
